A Thousand Worlds of Harry Potter and the Curse of Slytherin
Chapter 28
"Harry, your cloak —"
The weather outside was too cold, and everyone began to return to the castle in twos and threes.
Fred and George had already agreed to have a celebration in the common room. Hermione and Ron were holding hands and looking at each other affectionately, with sweet smiles on their faces. Harry felt that it was better not to disturb them now.
He was about to turn around and walk back when Ginny came out of the team room with his cloak and waved at him.
"Oh — I forgot. Ginny, thank you... uh — you can just throw it over —"
Harry reached out to catch it, but Ginny did not throw it to him. Instead, she walked over and draped the cloak over his shoulders.
"Thank... thank you."
Harry was a little overwhelmed. This action seemed a little too intimate.
However, Ginny was Ron's sister, which meant that she was his little sister...
Mrs. Weasley also liked to touch his hair and drape a cloak over him...
"You often don't know how to take care of yourself. It'll be bad if you catch a cold."
Ginny had a playful smile on her face as she generously put her hand on Harry's shoulder.
"Okay... I know." Harry's heart warmed. Everyone in the Weisles family treated him so well, as if they were family.
He smiled and patted Ginny's head. "Thank you, Ginny."
A week after the Quidditch competition, it was Halloween. Every year, the Halloween dinner was very sumptuous, and this year was no exception.
When Dumbledore announced the start of the meal with a smile, hundreds of golden plates were instantly filled with all kinds of delicacies. There was honey pudding, minced meat pies, grilled sausages, Bath fruit bread, steak chowder, roast beef, roast chicken, pork chops, lamb chops, sausages, steak, boiled potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, pea sprouts, carrots, gravy, tomato sauce, mashed potatoes, mint candies, French fries, roast chicken drumsticks... Harry even saw Haig's favorite rock cake on one of the plates. He did not reach for it, carefully avoiding it.
Hermione and Ron sat together. Harry sat on Ron's left, and Ginny sat on the other side.
All the professors were sitting in their chairs. Even Professor Trelawney came out of her tower, but she still had that mysterious look on her face, and did not touch anything at the banquet.
Dumbledore was wearing a dark blue wizard hat, and was whispering something to Professor Mcgonagall. Umrich had a disgusting fake smile on his face, drinking red wine, and glancing at Snape from time to time.
Harry's heart ached again. He looked away, but the next moment, he could not help but look greedily at the black figure who was quietly eating with his head down, and exuding a cold aura.
Why can't I let him go?
Snape looked no different from before. He seemed to be the only one who was tossing and turning, and was troubled by love.
It was ridiculous for him to be like this.
He forced himself to look away, lowered his head and stuffed the milk pudding into his mouth.
"Harry," Hermione suddenly poked her head out from Ron's side and called him, "Do you remember what I told you last time?"
"Um — Sen?"
Harry's mouth was full, and he almost choked when he opened his mouth. Ginny considerately poured him a glass of pumpkin juice, "Thank — thank you, Ginny."
Harry took the glass and drank a few mouthfuls. He continued to ask Hermione, "What do you mean?"
"It's about submitting a manuscript for 'Singing Devil'!
Rita Skeeter wrote to me a few days ago to complain. You know, I promised her that as long as she didn't do anything stupid, I would consider giving her an exclusive interview. "
"Oh — that —" If … one more person knew about it, one more force to oppose Lord Voldemort, would it make him less dangerous?
Harry's gaze involuntarily drifted to the teachers' table. He quickly pulled it back and looked at Hermione, who was waiting for his answer, "Okay … Okay, where do you want to meet her?"
"Let's do it this weekend," Hermione thought for a moment, "We'll go to Hogsmeade this weekend. It'll be Christmas soon."
"Well, okay, Hermione, you decide —"
"Harry." Ginny smiled and patted him.
"Hey, what's wrong, Ginny?"
"Here …" Ginny naughtily pointed at the corner of his mouth with her finger, "It's stained — didn't you notice it after talking for so long?"
"Uh …" Harry smiled embarrassedly and raised his hand to wipe it, "I really didn't notice."
"It's not clean —"
Ginny looked at him helplessly and took out a handkerchief to gently wipe the corner of his mouth. Harry froze awkwardly.
Hermione showed a meaningful smile and pulled Ron, who was a little surprised, to the side and whispered something.
"I … I'll do it myself, Ginny. Thank you."
Harry blushed slightly and took the handkerchief from Ginny. Although he knew that Ginny was just being nice, Harry still felt that he couldn't stand being so close to her.
Snape quietly watched the interaction between the two teenagers at the long table in Gryffindor, and his black eyes darkened.
He tightly gripped the silver knife and fork to prevent himself from jumping up and rushing to the center of the crowd to drive away the little girl from the Weisles family. He tightly held Harry in his arms and didn't let him touch anyone, and those gem-like green eyes could only look at him —
Severus Snape never thought of himself as a good person, but at this moment, he was still shocked by the sudden surge of violent emotions in his heart.
"Severus?
Severus? "Dumbledore's shout startled him.
"What's the matter, Headmaster?" Snape looked at Dumbledore expressionlessly, and the emotions in his eyes disappeared in an instant.
"Oh … I just wanted to tell you …" Dumbledore smiled kindly, "that lamb chop really tasted good."
"Okay, Headmaster, I'll try it."
Snape turned back and lowered his eyes, and the strength in his fingers loosened slightly.
That was the future Harry Potter should have … to meet a girl he liked, get married, and have children … instead of an old man like him who didn't know whether he would live or die tomorrow …
Snape took a deep breath imperceptibly and continued to eat the minced meat pie in front of him, but it tasted like wax.
"[Hogwarts Senior Investigation Officer Order].
Any student or teacher is prohibited from reading, discussing, or promoting 'Singing Naysayers' in any form. Violators will be expelled and will never be accepted again.
This decision is in accordance with the 34th Education Decree of the Ministry of Magic. "
Harry's exclusive interview caused a sensation in the school as soon as it was published. Umrich was so angry that she immediately issued a new order to prohibit people from reading and spreading 'Singing Naysayers'.
Some people in the school thought that Harry was very brave, while others thought that he was simply daydreaming because he firmly claimed that the Lord Voldemort had resurrected and was making a comeback.
But no one took Umrich's so-called investigation officer's order seriously, regardless of whether they supported or opposed him.
Since the first investigation order was issued, Umrich applied for a large number of education decrees from the Ministry of Magic almost every week. Needless to say, she had the full support of Forgy behind her. These decrees included a ban on fireworks in the school, a ban on any products from Joko's Joke Shop into the classroom, and students' letters had to be checked by the janitor Ferch, etc.
Umrich didn't understand that the more she prohibited, the more curious people became. And whether it was students or teachers, those who wanted to violate the law always had their own secret channels.
Snape locked himself in the cellar and sat behind his desk, holding a copy of 'Singing Naysayers' in his hand.
On the cover was a photo of Harry. Harry's eyes were firmly fixed in front of him, and he was saying something with a serious face.
Snape didn't open 'Singing Naysayers'. He just looked at the cover gently and reached out to gently rub Harry's cheek in the photo with his knuckles.
When it was time for class, he reluctantly withdrew his gaze and took out a square box from the depths of the cabinet.
