Crazy Ex-Boyfriend

Chapter 23

Christmas Eve.

Helen brought Hayley to a restaurant for Christmas dinner.

Both of them did not have a big appetite and did not eat much.

"Where's Juven?" Helen suddenly asked.

Hayley was stunned. "He's at home."

"I thought you'd invite him to spend Christmas Eve with us."

"He'll come tomorrow afternoon."

Helen nodded. "I'm meeting Alexander for dinner tomorrow night. You can go out with Juven for dinner.

Do you have money? "

"I still have some living expenses."

"Don't always let Juven treat you to dinner. You have to treat him too."

Hayley didn't understand. "Why?"

"Juven is different from those men.

What those men want is nothing more than a beautiful woman.

Juven loves you, and he's quite cute.

I heard that he's responsible for the livelihood of the whole family? "

"Yes." Hayley lowered her eyes.

"He might not necessarily consider marriage, but marriage is not the prerequisite for dating."

Hayley was shocked. "Mom!"

Helen chuckled. "See!

You haven't thought about marriage either.

That's it. Marriage is quite annoying, and divorce is even more annoying. "It was probably advice that she had experienced deeply.

After returning to her new residence in Bellaire, she called Juven. After more than an hour on the phone, the phone was boiling hot.

She went to bed early that night.

The next day, Christmas Day, Juven called early in the morning. He lay in bed and talked on the phone for more than an hour before getting out of bed.

He was so hungry that he went downstairs and shouted "Lucia". No one answered. Only then did he remember that the maid and chef were on holiday.

He could only go to the fridge to find something to eat. Yogurt and blueberry pie. The chef made some food that could be eaten after heating it in the oven.

Helen also came down. "Get me something to eat."

She cut another piece of pie and put it in the oven.

Helen was deep in thought. "You didn't know how to do housework in the past."

"I have to learn a little. It's not difficult." She didn't do it in the past because she had a maid. If she could get a maid to do it, she would never do it herself.

He poured her another glass of milk.

"Do you have enough money?"

"That's enough." Four thousand USD a month was not enough to finish spending.

There seemed to be nothing more to say. After a moment of silence, Helen said, "Take care of yourself."

"I will.

Mom, "Hayley hesitated," Mr. Bashrov — "

"What happened to him?

Oh, don't worry about David. I've already told Alexander that I don't want to see him looking for you. "

"Thank you, Mom."

"I'm going out in a while.

If you're going out to play, come back early tonight. "

Hayley nodded.

Helen went out before 10 o 'clock.

Hayley stayed at home for a while.

It was a little scary to think that she was the only one in such a big house.

Most of the time, he was alone in his apartment in Berkeley. However, the apartment was small, and when he opened the windows, he could hear the honking of cars, the footsteps of people walking around, and the sound of people talking. As long as there was a "human scent", it would not feel too lonely.

She went to the study to tidy up her textbooks and homework.

Before the holidays, the teachers assigned some reading homework for each subject. Philosophy required more reading, so she took notes while reading. Mathematics and English were not very difficult. She had already finished a few papers.

She didn't need to read the professional books yet, but as a top student, she started to read some related papers, articles, literature, and so on.

Juven had accompanied her to the library to find some reference books to read. She sorted them out and would return them after the New Year.

She went back to the bedroom and packed her suitcase.

On the way back, Rui Fan was the one who helped her pack her luggage. She learned from him how to pack, but after a long time, she still couldn't get it done. She couldn't zip it up.

She could only put it aside.

Then she called him and asked what he was doing.

He said that he was shopping with Djékun and Samo outside and asked her what she wanted.

"Can you come and pick me up?

There's only one car at home. Helen drove it away. "

"Okay, wait for me. I'll come and pick you up now."

It took almost an hour for him to say "now".

It was the first time Djékun and Samo entered such a mansion. Samo was only 13 years old. She was a half-grown child. Her eyes widened in shock.

Djékun calmed down and didn't show too much surprise or envy.

"I'm starving!

Did you buy anything to eat? "

"Only potato chips and cola." Juven pulled her over. "What delicious food are you eating?

Let me try. "He kissed her and licked her lips. It was sour and sweet. It was yogurt.

"You just eat yogurt at home?" He pretended to be surprised. "What kind of life are you living?!"

"There's also fruit," she said vaguely.

"I thought you had eaten.

You should have told me earlier that there was no food at home. I would have taken you out to eat earlier. "

"Are we going to eat now?" She was very happy. "Helen isn't at home. We'll sneak a few bottles of wine.

I saw some red wine in the basement the other day. "

So she followed Juven to the basement.

"Alexander must have put it here in the past. Mom only knows how to drink. She won't understand the origin and year of the wine.

Do you understand? "

"A little. Kinou likes good wine. He knows more." Juven took out a bottle of wine and looked at the label, origin, and year.

"Do you have good wine?" Hayley moved closer to him.

He wasn't very sure. "They should all be good."

He tapped her little nose and forgot that there was some dust on the bottle. With this tap, the dust rubbed against the tip of her nose.

Seeing the dust on the tip of her nose, he laughed.

She patted his arm. "Dust on my hand!" She wiped the tip of her nose.

Then she punched him a few more times. "You're so annoying!"

He shouted, "Don't fight anymore!

The bottle is going to fall! "

She stopped and snorted. "So what if it falls!

It's not mine anyway! "She glared at him and took out two bottles of wine." Take whatever you want. "

Juven took out another bottle.

The two of them took out four bottles of wine. Juven found a landline and called Kinou in Toronto to ask about the bottles of wine.

Hayley went to see Djékun and Samo. They were almost done with an entire tub of ice cream.

"Leave some for me." She opened the cupboard and took out a small glass bowl. Djékun scooped a few spoonfuls of ice cream into the glass bowl.

She then took out a can of walnuts and sprinkled them on the ice cream. She then took out some chocolate sauce from the fridge and poured some on the walnuts. She then ate it with a small silver spoon.

Djékun and Samo stared at her blankly.

"You've never eaten like this before?" Hayley was a little puzzled. "Oh, right. I don't think the ice cream shop outside has these.

It would be even better if there were blueberries. "

"I want to eat like this too," Samo said immediately.

"You've eaten enough." Juven took the ice cream tub. "You too, Djékun."

Children had no resistance to sweets and would never complain no matter how much they ate. It wasn't that they didn't have ice cream at home, but their mother was very strict and wouldn't let the two of them finish more than half the tub.

"We can also freeze Coke, Sprite, Pepsi, red wine, and white wine into small ice cubes. Then we can add chocolate sauce and a few spoonfuls of ice cream. It's not bad." She scooped a spoonful of ice cream and stuffed it into Juven's mouth.

"Kinou said." The ice cream melted quickly in the warm mouth. "These bottles are very good. He wants us to save one for him."

"Whatever." They finished the ice cream quickly.

Hayley was, in fact, still a child.

Juven was very sure of that.

She had been eating snacks in the car. After eating a bunch of snacks, she naturally wasn't very hungry.

So he went back to Phoenix's house first, left his siblings at home, and left a bottle of wine. Then he went to the hotel and left a bottle of wine in Kinou's room.

There were also two bottles of wine. He took them back to his room.

After cuddling in bed for half a day, he went downstairs to the restaurant for dinner at six o 'clock.

Hayley was still hungry and ate a lot.

"Do you want to go out tonight?"

"It's Christmas today. Is there a place to go?"

"Of course." Juven smiled. "As long as you know where to go."

"Then I'll have to ask Savannah and her brother.

I promised them. "

Juven hesitated for a moment. "Okay.

You tell them the address and let them drive there themselves. "

In a certain underground nightclub, it was still a standard Hollywood party. The music was too loud, there were too many people, hot, colorful lights, flashing lights, alcohol, hormones, and dopamine.

Savannah had already experienced this kind of overly lively party with Hayley, so she looked calm.

Bill was a little overwhelmed.

There were too many beautiful girls here!

There were slender girls everywhere wearing a variety of small singlets. There were all kinds of races, but of course, most of them were white. The uniform appearance of the girls was beautiful, thin, long-legged, arrogant, and blurred eyes.

Hayley's beauty was drowned under the colorful neon lights.

Bill went to get close to a few girls, and Juven went to find his friends.

Hayley and Savannah went down to the dance floor to dance.

It was easy to notice the passage of time when one was high. When Hayley suddenly remembered that Juven hadn't come to look for her, she felt a little strange.

"I have to buy a drink.

Do you want one? "She asked Savannah.

"It's so hot. Let's go get a drink."

The bar of this kind of underground nightclub wouldn't ask for your ID, so she bought two alcoholic drinks, one for each of them.

"I don't know where Bill went." Savannah tiptoed and looked around. "Where's Juven?

Why didn't he come back after running away? "

"He said he went to find his friends."

"Friends are often bad friends." She pulled her with one hand. "Let's go find these two idiots."

There were some booths and sofas around the dance floor, and there were handsome men and beautiful women everywhere. There were some who were half-drunk, and there were also some who were rolling 20 yuan bills into small rolls and sticking them to their noses to take drugs.

The two girls couldn't help but wrinkle their little noses and quickly walk away.

The two of them weren't "good girls" in the standard sense. They smoked a lot of marijuana, but they maintained the same attitude towards higher-grade drugs. This was also one of the reasons why they were able to hang out together.

They didn't find Bill, but they found Juven.

Juven sat in the middle of a group of people, leaning against the back of the sofa. His face was facing the ceiling, and he looked lazy after an orgasm.

There was some suspicious white powder on the glass coffee table in front of him, and a thin green roll of paper was thrown aside.

Someone saw Hayley coming over and quickly nudged Juven.

Juven turned his head and looked at Hayley, as if he wasn't sure if it was her.

Then he smiled and was about to stand up when he saw Hayley quickly pick up someone's wine glass on the coffee table and pour it on the white powder.

A person lowered his head and was sucking hard, but he didn't expect the powder to be wet. He raised his head angrily. "Hey!"

Hayley stepped on the glass coffee table. "Why aren't you getting lost?!" Although the music was noisy, there was no need to explain her unhappy face.

Soon, those people had all left.

Then she picked up a denim jacket that someone had left behind and threw it on the coffee table. Then she stepped on the coffee table and looked down at Juven. "What are you doing?"

"Playing." He was still smiling, as if he didn't notice that his "friends" had slipped away.

He tried to stand up, but she stamped on his chest with her foot.

He widened his eyes in shock. "What are you doing?" He seemed to have realized something. "Baby Bear, are you angry?"

She really wanted to beat him up.

Hayley glared at him angrily. "I don't like you anymore. You know I hate you the most … You're like this.

I thought you'd quit drugs. "

Juven finally remembered what he had done just now.

Unable to defend himself, he clumsily tried to stand up again.

In the end, he was kicked in the chest again.
