Crossing With the Ball
Chapter 6
Perhaps Chili Pepper was suspicious.
Since we are working for the same type of people – the difference is that Stark chose to disclose his identity, while my Parker family chose not to.
However, Chili Pepper would never have guessed that the three brothers were Spider-man, because …
He was grateful to the black technology and praised the black technology.
We used advanced technology to make the three of them look exactly the same in terms of height, weight, and appearance, including their voices!
What else do you think we would have done?
Was he stupid enough to let everyone discover that there were three Spider-man?
No, no, that won't do.
Toby had claimed that Spider-man was his bodyguard.
Back to tonight.
Apparently, I was the argument of the night.
About my date that was interrupted by Peter again, and my seemingly eternal and hopeless crush.
"Are you sure that Peter doesn't like Xiaonan?
I mean, the kind that is stealthy. "Max said.
She said this while sitting on my new velvet sofa and using the wall seventy-two?
Jealous of a poor boy?
Ao Tuo Tuo Huai Tuo Dang Geu ± Benzene Imitation Jiao Ji Gong?
What is this? What is this?
Sacrifice to Love Plum Blossom?

"Two thousand percent sure."
Caroline answered for me, "Don't forget, we were in the same high school. I've seen Peter dating other girls.
Oh … that's true. "
"Pretty cute?" Max continued.
I glared daggers at them.
"Hateful!" Max corrected herself.
I retracted my dagger.
It was an ordinary Thursday night.
Chili Pepper was working overtime at home, and I was working on my thesis on my laptop. Caroline and Max were binge-watching dramas. In the open dining room, living room, and kitchen, we had our own space.
Very good.
However, Max couldn't hold back her words.
In less than two seconds, she asked again,
"Seriously, can't you like someone else, Nancy?"
"Actually, she already changed once," Caroline answered for me again, "When she was in her first year of high school, she had a crush on Andrew."
"Can you be any better, my spokesperson?" I mocked Caroline.
Caroline turned a deaf ear to him.
Maybe she really didn't understand.
She laughed like a fool.
Max looked at me pitifully and shook her head.
"Anyway, regardless of whether that Peter likes you or not, you're hopeless on a certain level, Nancy.
You'd better come and see Downton Manor. "
I rolled my eyes in anger.
"I'm writing my thesis!
Max.
Don't!?
Fan the flames! "
Chili Pepper glanced at us and sighed.
She sat at the junction of the kitchen and the dining room, where there was a piece of decorative brick, extraordinarily wide, with a rectangular hole in it that we used as a little table, like the bar seats you might find in a tavern or restaurant.
"There's not a day of peace."
Chili Pepper muttered to herself, rubbing her temples with her index finger, "Sometimes I really hate my life."
Hate is right.
That's life.
Of course, I didn't say this to Chili Pepper.
I didn't make Chili Pepper explode, my name isn't Tony Stark.
However, there might be other people here who are interested in watching me explode.
… For example, Max?
Peter's video request came out of nowhere.
I didn't have time to turn it off, Max had already noticed the small window that popped up on my laptop screen, and quickly rushed over to help me press yes.
Peter's face popped up on the screen, anyone with eyes could see that his face was covered in batter.
"Hi, Parker!" Max greeted cheerfully.
I first glared at Max with my back to the camera, then turned my face away.
"What's wrong with your face?" I asked, using my index finger to point at the places on Peter's face that were covered in batter.
As soon as Peter opened his mouth, three voices came from behind him.
'He wants to poison Toby so he can inherit the family business, I guess.'
'Very unpalatable pie.
Very unpalatable, very unpalatable pie. '
'What are you talking about, you older brothers?
It's just a small failure, right?
Baby. '
Only then did I realize that this was a video call from many parties.
Including Andrew, who was studying in England.
The first sentence was from Andrew.
Of course I was happy to see Andrew, ever since he went to England.
I greeted him cheerfully.
"Andy!
I missed you so much! "I stared at Andrew's window and said.
Andrew smiled brightly at me.
'Oh, I missed you too??
Nan Nan.
I'll be back soon, I promise, I'll immediately … '
'I'm trying to make a pie!' Peter interrupted Andrew.
Suddenly everyone stared at him and his window. 'Didn't you say I never brought you anything other than sandwiches or burritos?
Nancy.
I want to prove that I don't just bring you some squashed food.
I can do that. '
Max laughed.
Caroline and Chili Pepper also came over and stood behind my chair.
Peter's window had another window pane. It was Toby, walking back and forth in their living room with his phone.
'Don't eat the Xiaonan.
Don't eat it. 'Toby looked at him with one hand.
'You have to go to the company tomorrow afternoon. You can't get a stomach ache, you understand?'
'I will succeed!' Peter said angrily.
Really angrily.
His cheeks were puffed up.
"Oh, that's cute," Caroline said.
"I'm going to get my phone."
Max turned around and returned to the sofa. "I want to join this conversation. I want my own window. I have so much to complain about."
"What?
Then I want it too. "Caroline followed Max away.
Chili Pepper stared at Peter on the screen and raised her eyebrows. "It's not that I don't believe you, but compared to your brothers, you don't seem to have any talent for housework …" She was telling the truth.
Peter was even angrier.
This wasn't good.
I knew he hated being compared to his brothers the most.
He wouldn't lose his temper over this, but he could think about it for half a year.
Of course, I had to change the subject at a time like this.
Even though this meant that I had to give up on continuing the conversation with Andrew.
But anyway, he was already going to talk to Caroline. Since Andrew might be the only person Caroline could criticize …
"But the pie is still flat," I said, raising my eyebrows at Peter in the video.
Suddenly, Peter's eyes widened.
It was no different from a pet dog that was frightened by its owner.
"It, it's not that flat, is it?" Peter stammered.
"It's flat," I repeated. "Unless you put a lot of decorations on it?"
Peter's eyes widened even more.
"But … but I make a shepherd's pie."
I screamed.
"I don't want to eat that!
I hate mutton! "
Peter immediately clarified and waved his hands around.
This allowed me to see the burns, the knife wounds, and the still-wet batter on his hands – did he do it halfway and come to me to take credit for it?
I couldn't help but wonder.
More than that, I felt distressed.
I tried not to frown at those scars.
"I didn't add mutton!
I know you don't eat it. "
"Then what did you add?
It's not ground beef.
Oh, it must be that.
Toby doesn't like ground beef in the pie. "
"Uh, I guess, maybe I added too much mashed potatoes?" Peter wanted to scratch his cheeks, but found that his hands were full of batter and gave up in frustration.
I laughed.
If I had been there, I would have wiped the batter off his cheeks, told him to wash his hands, and bandaged his wounds.
… Fortunately, I wasn't there.
Oh my god, I must have been possessed by a demon.
"Just use a version with more tomatoes, I like tomatoes," I suggested to Peter.
We discussed the pie for at least twenty minutes.
Finally, Peter excitedly told me that he would definitely make the most successful pie and bring it to me for breakfast tomorrow.
Toby completely gave up on saving it all.
He only said that he would have stomach medicine in his office.
Andrew was laughing and told Peter to learn cooking from Max.
Max immediately said that the tuition would be calculated by the hour and was a thousand dollars an hour.
After the video ended, I continued to chat with Peter in a text window.
Alone.
He kept asking when I would tell Andrew that we would go to the amusement park together when Andrew returned to New York, and what was with the Bambi Deer doll.
I told Peter the truth, because Andrew's eyes were too similar to Bambi Deer, I sent Andrew a lot of pictures of him and a young white-tailed deer.
Maybe Andrew thought it was funny, so he ordered a Bambi Deer doll from the UK that was almost two-thirds of my height. It was very fluffy and comfortable to hold, and now it's my must-have sleeping doll at night.
?
Shirley May is cuter.?
– Peter answered me.
Shirley May is the pink curly bear from the Ocean Park series.
