Chapter 12
After returning from Seoul, Hong Se-jeong sensed that Han Ruila had become a lot more depressed.
She would shut herself in her room all day to review her homework or daydream endlessly.
She didn't smile or talk much.
She knew that her daughter had something on her mind, but she also knew that she needed to give children of her age some space to sort themselves out.
Growing up was a must.
Fortunately, Han Ruila began to focus on writing and studying again after being depressed for a few days. She didn't have to worry about her anymore.
Han Ruila's novel was being written very smoothly, and she had already accumulated a certain amount of popularity.
Now that the whole family trusted her more, the restrictions on her using her phone had also been relaxed.
She was very hardworking. Apart from reviewing her homework and practicing the piano, she spent the rest of her time on her novel, trying her best to portray every detail perfectly.
Compared to the illogical fast-food novels that were only for temporary gratification, she wanted to write a novel that was worth remembering countless times.
In her previous life, her younger sister Han Ruilin always said that her life was empty and that she might as well marry a novel.
Han Ruila didn't refute. She had indeed received a lot of comfort from the world she had been told about since she was young.
In order to concentrate on writing her favorite novel, even if she had to endure loneliness, it was worth it.
Days slipped by, and Han Ruila ushered in her last holiday of middle school.
She had nothing to do at home, so Han Ruilin encouraged her to send a postcard to Tian Zhengguo.
She said that it must be very hard for him to be alone in Seoul and that he needed someone to care for him.
Han Ruila saw through it but didn't say anything. She keenly sensed that Han Ruilin wanted to send a postcard to Tian Zhengguo.
Maybe she still liked him. If it wasn't for her sister, she would have used her own way to treat Tian Zhengguo.
Han Ruila was helpless. She held a pile of blank postcards from Han Ruilin and thought for a long time.
She was in a dilemma.
The next day, while she was writing in her room, Han Ruilin carried her violin and stomped into the room. Her cheeks were puffed up with anger.
Seeing her unhappy face, Han Ruila asked, "What's wrong?
Didn't you go out to practice?
Why are you back so early? "
In order not to disturb Han Ruila, Han Ruilin went to the beach to practice.
That place was spacious and empty. No one would disturb him, so he could calm down.
At the mention of this topic, Han Ruilin flared up. "Don't mention it. There's a lunatic!"
“?”
"It's the class monitor from our class. I told you before, the one who studied too much!
I only found out today that he had been following me and watching me practice by the beach.
Crazy!
I don't even have the mood to practice anymore. "
The class monitor that Han Ruilin mentioned lived not far from their house, and he could also see the sea.
He must have accidentally found out that Han Ruilin went to the beach to practice the piano every day, so he secretly waited there.
Han Ruilin had always been mean to the boys who liked her, which was why she was so angry.
Actually, that person was quite smart. He wasn't like what Han Ruilin said, someone who had studied too much.
It was just that he was young and impulsive, so it was inevitable that he would act a bit woodenly in front of the girl he liked.
Han Ruilin curved her lips. "He's quite infatuated. Do you want to consider him?"
Han Ruilin was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. "No way!
I don't like his type! "
"What type?"
"Sinister, refined scum!"
"Sinister?"
Han Ruilin wanted to laugh a bit.
Which idiot was the one who beamed with joy in front of her and praised him for his high IQ and abstinence?
Now that she said that he was her future husband, Han Ruilin definitely wouldn't believe it.
Perhaps a person would want different things at different stages of life.
Han Ruilin used to confidently say that she didn't like boys like the class monitor, but later on, her love became unprincipled.
Maybe she liked something at a certain stage, but when she looked at it with a different mindset, the feeling would be completely different.
With this thought, Han Ruilin suddenly couldn't laugh.
Kim Dong-hyung …
Would his reaction be different if he got to know her again?
Halfway through the holidays, she received an acceptance letter from the art high school in east Seoul.
Then, without waiting for the holidays to end, she packed her luggage and went to Seoul to live with Han Min-ki.
The joint factory had just started and was lacking manpower.
After Han Ruilin arrived, she naturally helped out at the factory for a few days.
The expenses in Seoul were very high, so Han Ruilin was a bit worried about the expenses after school started.
She started another article, thinking that she should earn as much as she could.
Han Min-ki had to work late every day. He was both the boss and the employee, so he had to do all the work that no one else was doing.
Han Ruilin knew how hard it was for him, but Han Min-ki wouldn't let her work late at night no matter what.
Therefore, Han Ruila was cooped up in her room, burying herself in writing. Her father didn't know either. He thought she had gone to bed early.
The father and daughter didn't say anything. They were both doing their best to make a living.
After school started, Han Min-ki accompanied Han Ruilin to report to school. After seeing the teacher and getting her uniform, he left her behind and rushed back to work.
Han Ruilin quietly sat alone in her seat and looked at the clear blue sky outside the window.
He was surrounded by unfamiliar classmates who were noisily trying to get to know each other. It was extremely lively.
It had been a long time since Han Ruila had seen this kind of youthful enthusiasm since she graduated from university.
She turned her head and looked at the classmates around her, looking for someone she could approach.
But she found that other than her, there was no one else in the classroom.
Personally, she preferred to be friends with quiet girls. If they had similar personalities, it would be easier to get along with them.
She also liked cheerful and lively girls as long as they were pure.
After looking around, she didn't see anyone who made her want to strike up a conversation. She was a little disappointed when she suddenly saw the classroom door open from the corner of her eye. A girl with delicate eyebrows but a little cold walked in.
Han Ruilin was shocked by her beauty and her aura. She forgot to look away and at the same time, she noticed that the laughter in the class seemed to have quieted down.
The girl flicked her honey-brown curly hair and walked to the back seat without looking sideways.
The girls in the class peeked at her with a complicated gaze because she was a beauty that many people were chasing after.
Even in the Yigao class where beautiful girls were like clouds, she was very eye-catching.
But the honey brown hair girl didn't feel uncomfortable at all being looked at. She plugged in her headphones as soon as she returned to her seat and lay on the table to sleep. Her cold aura that refused to communicate with others was incompatible with the surrounding environment.
Soon, no one paid any more attention to her, and everyone started laughing and joking again.
Sung He e-young lay on the table with her eyes closed. She turned up the volume of her headphones to drown out the noise around her.
The music was very exciting, but she couldn't listen to anything. Her mind was a mess.
She thought of her terrible popularity in junior high …
She was fine when she was in elementary school, but as she started to develop in junior high, her appearance became more and more outstanding. All kinds of gazes and discussions followed.
Sung He e-young was actually a very reserved and sensitive person. When others looked at her, she would be nervous and expressionless. So many people secretly said that she was cold and arrogant, which made many people stay away from her.
None of the girls were willing to be friends with her because everyone said that standing next to Sung He e-young would make them lose out.
Her good friends also broke up with her because they couldn't accept that the guy they liked had a crush on Sung He e-young.
Having no friends and being isolated by others, Cheng Xiying had long lost her self-confidence after repeated encounters.
She had originally planned to start over after entering high school, but when all eyes gathered on her from all directions, she couldn't help but pull a long face. She put on her headphones and pretended to be aloof. She closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep.
She said in her heart that she shouldn't be like this, but she still lay motionless.
The hope in her heart gradually extinguished, and she unconsciously fell into a daze.
After some time, she suddenly felt someone poking her arm. She woke up and raised her head.
A girl with excessively fair skin and red lips as soft as petals stood in front of her. Her big black eyes showed some caution, without any other complicated thoughts.
She had a cool and refreshing temperament, as graceful and moving as the peerless beauties in the old movies.
Seeing her raise her head, she said softly, "The opening ceremony is about to begin."
Sung He e-young was stunned. She realized that they were the only ones left in the classroom.
She hurriedly stood up and thanked the girl.
The girl smiled softly and replied, "You're welcome."
"My name is Han Ruila. What's your name?"
Sung He e-young looked at the girl in front of her again. Her heart suddenly thumped.
"Sung He e-young." Her tone was stiff.
The girl didn't seem to care about her cold tone. She nodded and said, "I'll remember."
It was a very calm conversation, and then there was nothing else to say.
The two went downstairs together and found their class. Then they separated.
However, Cheng Xiying had always remembered the first brief contact between the two of them. It was when she was feeling hopeless about her future high school life, and a ray of aurora had appeared in front of her.
Later, in a radio interview, Sung He e-young mentioned several times that it was because Han Ruila hit on her that she ignited a glimmer of hope. That was why she took the initiative to approach her.
But Han Ruila didn't feel that she had given her any signal. It was just a normal greeting.
The people who were listening to their recollections all saw it clearly. The two of them were just unconsciously attracted to each other.
Otherwise, why would Han Ruila care if the cold beauty who was sleeping in the classroom went downstairs or not? Why would she stay and ask her to come with her?
Why would Sung He e-young muster the courage to get to know her because of a few words?
