Dragon Rider Warplane
Chapter 821
Chapter 821: A Trap or Inviting the Dragon In
Upon hearing Zeger’s words, Bob’s family stood dumbfounded, completely terrified. They had encountered more horrifying events in these two days than in their entire lives.
Not just them; even some armed personnel couldn’t help but touch their necks, icy sweat breaking out on their backs. This was equipment only for a headless knight; it was extremely vicious.
No one dared imagine that, just as Zeger said, if this ring detonated, a head could soar into the sky, and the blood gushing from the severed neck would spray like a fountain.
A chill spread among everyone. Lin Mo’s gaze seemed sharp as a knife. Zeger appeared to thoroughly enjoy that look, laughing coldly as if his scheme had succeeded.
However, he didn’t plan to give Lin Mo a ring; it was unnecessary and redundant.
As long as he had control over the others, he wasn’t worried about what Lin Mo would do. Otherwise, he would have acted long ago.
The two CIA agents felt grateful but shook their heads secretly. Pilots truly represent the knightly spirit, fierce and ruthless in combat, yet sometimes embarrassingly foolish.
“Gold Coin, scan that ring!”
Lin Mo didn’t say anything further; he refused to let this bastard Japanese man have his way.
He was waiting for Zeger to reveal all his cards.
Just wait for you to show a single card; the Dragon Knight still held a trump card.
A madman who thinks adding some excitement to this hunting game would bring more fun would meet a Dragon Knight who had been plotting to maximize his gains. In the end, who could win this round depended on whose cards were more numerous.
As Zeger walked toward the vehicle prepared in advance, Lin Mo deliberately slowed his pace, getting closer to the two CIA agents, intently examining the metal ring.
“Mr. Morin, let me remind you that once this safety ring is activated, tugging on it might trigger a self-detonation. So please be careful! Of course, if you’d like to wear one, I would be even happier. Haha, haha.”
Zeger smiled wickedly, eagerly waiting for Lin Mo’s face to show defeat, but he was disappointed. Lin Mo seemed oblivious and ignored him.
“Hey, kiddo, look what you’ve gotten yourself into! Hahaha, watch as Miller deals with you!”
The bad guy released from Bob’s villa, rubbing his restrained and swollen body, spoke through clenched teeth, a sinister grin crossing his face. He was coming to extract a brutal revenge on the bald CIA agent Ivan Carter. He wanted to return the torment he had suffered tenfold, knocking out all his teeth would be necessary.
How a small man achieves success!
Ivan Carter glared at the bad guy, spitting contemptuously; he was even prepared for a heroic end.
Boom!
It was as if a big truck had crashed into him. A gust of wind swept through, and before the bad guy could react, he was smashed like a cannonball through the window of Bob’s villa, even bursting through the wooden shutters inside. The room fell silent.
Zeger’s men were all wide-eyed in shock, their faces pale and unable to speak. Was this The Terminator?
A dead silence ensued!
The terrified gazes of everyone on both sides met as the Dragon Knight calmly patted his fist, as though he had done something trivial, like swatting away an annoying fly.
This was just interest!
Was this guy showing off? Although he had discarded the bad guy as a trivial piece, Zeger’s expression turned sour. His plan seemed to be shrouded in an unexpected shadow.
“Scan complete. Metal constitutes 90%, with titanium making up half; the rest is iron and iridium. I can destroy it or simply consume it.”
The gold giant dragon quietly responded, sensing the structure and composition of the “safety ring” as long as it was within close range.
Lin Mo nodded slightly and said, “Well done! Gold Coin! These snacks will belong to you later.”
He believed the gold giant dragon would enjoy these foods mainly composed of magic silver, as for the C4, without a detonation device, it was just a harmless lump of rubber.
Zeger would never suspect that there was a terrifying creature that fed on metal hidden beside Lin Mo. This was the top of the food chain, and it seemed his planned game had a major flaw. It wasn’t his fault; it was due to a gold giant dragon revealing it.
……
Scarlet Manor, located just over three hours from Oak Ridge, is a private vacation estate built by a wealthy family in a picturesque setting. It serves as a gathering place for the affluent, powerful figures, celebrities, and other distinguished guests.
From the outside, it appears to be a luxurious and livable paradise, but many people are unaware that it hides a bloody and brutal underground black market gladiatorial arena.
During the day, as social elites from all directions enter the manor, four container trucks guarded by armed personnel accompany the wealthy in their luxury cars into the estate.
Most people in the manor have no idea what is inside the containers, but the intensely alert expressions and readiness of the armed personnel suggest that it must contain something extraordinary.
Many high-profile socialites eagerly anticipate the evening’s "grand event."
In a secret underground vault area within Scarlet Manor, Zeger pointed out a special safe to Lin Mo, saying, "Mr. Morin, this is all the data and technical verification samples regarding the Hydrogen-Oxygen Decomposition Tank that I have. You can fully trust this safe in the manor. It wouldn’t be easy to blow it up, and even laser cutting isn’t a straightforward task. Both your key and mine are required to open it."
The owner of Scarlet Manor is part of the world’s top-tier wealthy family. Though immensely rich, they remain discreet, with only a select few truly aware of their identity.
This highly secure vault, comparable to a national bank and capable of withstanding nuclear attacks, not only stores part of the family’s extremely valuable collections and wealth but is sometimes temporarily lent out to other VIP clients, serving as an impartial third party for safeguard purposes.
The safe in front of Lin Mo and Zeger happened to be one of those, and even the owner did not possess a third or fourth key.
"Mr. Bob!" Lin Mo called out to Bob Boyce, the inventor of the "Hydrogen-Oxygen Decomposition Tank" technology, who had been specially brought over.
"No problem, Mr. Morin!"
Bob, wearing a silver "safety ring," approached, and upon seeing the treasure that belonged to him, he restrained his excitement and carefully examined everything, leaving no page unchecked. There was also a laptop to check the electronic documents, and even though he couldn’t remember everything, he was quite familiar with it.
The technical verification sample of the "Boyce Hydrogen-Oxygen Decomposition Tank" had even been tested and operated for a while. It indeed performed as specified, achieving a 12-fold Faraday electrolysis efficiency, with large amounts of hydrogen and oxygen being released.
If mounted on the X-8 "monstrous" variable wings fighter jet, it would be like adding wings to a tiger, or perhaps even capable of flying into outer space.
Feeling a surge of excitement, Lin Mo secretly nodded; it was indeed a treasure. His gaze turned cold as he glanced at Zeger, who had intrusively appeared, his face filled with delight as he fixed his eyes on the documents and the operating technical verification sample.
Lin Mo let out a cold snort in his heart, waiting to make him regret it soon.
Lin Mo presented the USB drive resembling a key and, in front of everyone, handed it along with the other documents to the manor’s vault manager to place inside this safe. With a few soft clicks, the safe door was locked tightly, requiring two super hard alloy keys to be inserted and turned simultaneously to open it. Zeger glanced disdainfully at the key in Lin Mo’s hand, thinking to himself that it wouldn’t be long before it would belong to him. He smirked at his henchmen; Bob would be taken away, and along with his family and the CIA agents, they would be locked up, but the cell key was handed to Lin Mo.
Boom!
A bloodied, muscular man slammed against nearly a foot-thick crystal bulletproof glass, slowly sliding down, eyes wide, showing disbelief and extreme fear, already lifeless.
Just seconds ago, this top black market fighter from Chechnya had been roaring with fighting spirit, executing his most proud killer move, “Giant Axe Combo,” aimed straight at Lin Mo, who stood defiantly. But in the next second, he was shot through the chest, flying out like a cannonball.
"Who’s next? Who else?"
With blood on his hands, the Dragon Knight looked menacingly around, unleashing a thunderous roar filled with killing intent.
The crystal bulletproof glass wall vibrated under the impact of his voice, releasing an overwhelming and unstoppable aura.
Having been an Air Knight for so long, he hadn’t felt such exhilarating slaughter in quite some time.
Flying a fighter jet allowed him to enjoy the thrill of speed, but all attack methods were merely a finger’s motion, far from the blood-soaked intensity of hands-on combat.
Outside the “crystal cage," nearly a thousand wealthy elites, after a few seconds of stunned silence, suddenly erupted in a chaotic roar that threatened to lift the floor above, their frenzied screams echoing through the vast gladiatorial arena deep underground, where adrenaline soared, and they danced like madmen.
"Dragon! Dragon! Dragon…"
All the voices in the arena converged into one, that of the new gladiatorial arena killing god, rising within the underground arena of Scarlet Manor. This figure, code-named "Dragon," hailing from a mysterious ancient land in the East, showcased terrifying combat power through the most brutal and fierce killing methods.
Another killing god, a true killing god.
In the "crystal cage," bodies that had long lost human form became stepping stones for the killing god, some human, others various fierce beasts.
