I Only Have One Piece of Land

Chapter 6

"Natasha, what are you reading?" Banna walked into the building and saw Natasha looking at her phone.

"A new novel." She turned off the phone. "Haven't you found Loki yet?"

"I've looked everywhere, but I can't find him." Steve scratched his head. "Where can he hide?"

"As long as you're sure he's not on Earth." Natasha shrugged. "We can't care about things outside Earth."

"I'm just afraid that he's working with aliens again."

Steve sighed and suddenly asked, "Right, I have a question for you. Natasha, what kind of men do women hate the most?"

"Men who are proud, conceited, and like to fool around." She stared at Tonny who was coming down the stairs. "Two models?"

Steve, who was carefully typing the text, raised his head disapprovingly. "That's not good for your health."

"Stop spreading rumors!" Tonny picked up the cupcake on the table. "I was in the lab last night and didn't sleep until five in the morning.

Tell me, what's the matter? "

"You haven't fixed the surveillance cameras?"

Banna found it hard to believe. "Someone must've helped that day. Who is he? How can he control time and fix the city?"

"Haven't you remembered who was at the scene?"

Tonny asked back. "You've all seen the suspect. How can you not remember her at all?"

Steve smiled embarrassedly. "The situation was too urgent, and she suddenly appeared to beat up Banna. In the blink of an eye, she was gone …"

"Are you sure it was' her '?"

Tonny rolled his eyes. "Oh, a girl suddenly appeared to beat up Hulk in front of all the avengers!" He shrugged. "That's really the funniest story I've ever heard."

"That's the truth."

Natasha emphasized. "She was wearing a blue dress, white high heels, and blonde hair …"

"You remember it so clearly!" Steve was amazed.

"… I'm wearing Chanel No. 5 perfume." Natasha rolled her eyes at the men. "Alright, stop looking at me like that!"

"Tsk, women."

Tonny stroked his chin. "She must be a beautiful woman. Otherwise, she wouldn't have attracted your attention."

Natasha turned around and ignored Stark's mockery.

"Is there anything else worth noting around here?"

Banna wanted to change the topic to avoid starting a war. "You know, after I transform, my memory is not that coherent."

"There's also a big black dog."

Steve recalled, "When we regained consciousness, it barked at us, but it could have been a stray cat or dog nearby. There was nothing unusual about it."

"Wait!" Tonny raised his hand. "Blonde hair and a dog?" He glanced at Natasha. "Why do I feel that this recipe is very familiar?"

"Abigail Blount!" Natasha blurted out. "I knew there was something wrong with her!"

"Jarvis!" Tonny shouted. "Send me Abigail Blount's information!"

"Yes, sir." Jarvis sent the folder to Tonny. He flipped through it and raised his head. "That's it?"

"That's it, sir," Jarvis replied.

"I told you to get information out of her, not to flirt!"

Tonny pointed at the chat records in the folder, exasperated. "How could I say something so mushy!"

"She's very cautious, sir."

Jarvis explained, "She hides her background very well. Also, recently, when I sent her a message, no one replied."

"She must have noticed something." Natasha frowned. "She's starting to be defensive."

Tonny was somewhat puzzled. The last time they had chatted, the little girl had been so attached to him, as if she would agree to his every request.

"She's too good at acting." Natasha shook her head. "She's not easy to deal with."

Abigail was not easy to deal with. Every day was very fulfilling.

Loki was a man with a story!

Not only did he have an unforgettable brotherly love, he was also very proficient in the art of trickery!

The little girl's fingers were flying on the keyboard. The response to her recent submissions was good, and the royalties were considerable. Thus, she added a simple bathroom next to Loki's small room.

Under Loki's guidance, her novel had already written about the fight for family property, the two brothers turning against each other, the doubts of blood relations, and who was the real one!

"The second brother is so pitiful."

Abigail's desk had already been placed under the room's windowsill. She sighed as she wrote. "Although he's not the real one, he has contributed the most to the family. Now, father wants to expel him from the family, and only likes the impulsive and useless eldest son!"

Loki had already discovered Abigail's little secret. He stood by the window and put his hand on her shoulder. "Only when the conflict is big enough can it attract enough readers."

"Yes, yes, yes."

Abigail felt that she had found a treasure. Not only did Loki have a story, but he also had a big imagination. "I think we can also make the younger brother fall in love with the older brother's girlfriend, so …"

"No!" Loki's face suddenly darkened. "Who wants to fall in love with such a lowly creature!"

"Then, then a more advanced one?"

Abigail thought that Loki despised the ordinary background of the female lead. "Uh, arrange a second female lead?"

Loki nodded condescendingly. "She has to be born in a prestigious family, have a noble bloodline, be powerful, preferably have black hair, and …"

Abigail was speechless. "If she's so powerful, how do you want the older brother to fight?"

That's true.

Loki thought for a moment. "Then cut a little bit, but the noble background must not be changed!"

"Okay, okay!" Abigail's thoughts flowed like a spring. "The female lead is a little white flower, so the second female lead should be more powerful.

Yes, a rich young lady with black hair and red lips, with a strong aura. After getting engaged with the second young master, she finds out that she loves the first young master … "

"Why!" Loki frowned. "Isn't this a couple for the second male lead?"

"But there will be more explosive points. Otherwise, how can she fight with the female lead?" Abigail had been influenced by what she saw and heard, and had a preliminary understanding of the plot of toilet novels.

"No!"

Loki was very insistent, as if he was the one who was cuckolded by the second female lead. "Unless the male lead falls in love with the second female lead, but she refuses!"

"Then why do we still need the female lead?"

Abigail looked at the little white flower in the computer file. "Her value is that she is the object of the male lead's love!"

"Then write her to death." Loki didn't think much of it. "Just change the female lead."

"This …" Abigail hesitated for a moment, and decided to leave this part of the plot undecided.

"The author is the god of all the characters."

Loki narrowed his eyes, looking very happy. "They are just ants under your hands. If you want them to live, they will live. If you want them to die, they will die."

"But as I write, I have feelings for them!"

Abigail raised her head and said seriously, "Although I'm writing like this now, when the older brother is really defeated by the younger brother at the end, as the author, I will also feel sad!" She paused and said, "The younger brother will definitely be sad."

Sentimental.

Loki was very disdainful. He took his noble hand off Abigail's shoulder.

At 3: 30 in the morning, Loki walked down from the funny little bed.

He walked to the window. The room was very dark, but he could still see the girl curled up on the sofa, sleeping soundly.

She didn't seem to care at all about exposing her sleeping posture in front of a stranger of the opposite sex. After so many days, he didn't see her press the curtains on the window or anything.

She was very lonely. Loki looked at her quietly. Abigail's whole head was buried in the blanket, only a puddle of golden hair was exposed.

Tsk, stupid hair color.

Loki snorted in disdain.

He unconsciously moved his wrist, and then suddenly raised his hand towards the sleeping girl.

Nothing happened.

He laughed at himself. Not to mention that he had lost his divine power, even if he could kill Abigail, he still couldn't walk out of this small room. Was he going to starve to death while guarding this idiot's body?

Well, even if he was a god, he still needed to eat and drink.

Let's just treat this girl as a free servant.

Loki looked at the lump in disdain. One of her feet had fallen to the ground. She could fall to the ground with a plop if she turned over.

Just as he was thinking, the girl moved as if she was really going to turn over.

Loki's eyebrows furrowed deeper. He simply leaned against the window, wanting to see with his own eyes how a person could be stupid enough to fall and wake herself up.

But Abigail disappointed him. She did turn over, but it was towards the inside of the sofa. Not only did she not fall, but she also retracted her foot.

Tsk.

Loki returned to his little bed. No matter what, his first step was to get out of this small room.

One day before the deadline, Abigail finally handed in this week's draft. She stretched her body and turned to look at Loki who was reading in the room. She decided to make a decent lunch.

"Loki is a good young man."

After this period of time, the System seemed to have forgotten how it disliked him. "Whether you change your lifelong wish or not, he is still helpful to you!"

Not only can he help you give birth to a child, he can also help you write a novel. Where can you find such a good young man?

Abigail stirred the egg in her bowl. "Are we not friends yet?"

"It's good enough that the red bar turned green. You have to learn to be content."

The System said earnestly, "You see, it's been less than a month and you've already become acquaintances. In another month, you'll be friends!

In another year or so, the child will be born!

And then … "

"Stop, stop, stop!"

Abigail put the bowl on the kitchen table. "I'm serious about making friends. Don't talk about having a child every time you open your mouth. Is my purpose just to have a child in your eyes?"

"Of course not!" The System retorted. "Your purpose is to fulfill your lifelong wish!"

"Why are you so concerned about whether I can fulfill it or not?" Abigail squinted. "Are you plotting something?"

"We also need to talk about performance evaluation."

The System said righteously. "The faster you fulfill your lifelong wish, the better our evaluation will be."

"Then, then what happens after I complete it?" Abigail was stunned. "Will you increase my salary?"

"I'll go to a wider universe!"

The System's tone was as if it was going to conquer the sea of stars. "A wider world is waiting for me!"

"Then what should I do?" Abigail was anxious. "I'll be alone …"

"Silly."

The System said helplessly. "When you complete your lifelong wish, it means that you've completely integrated into this world. By then, you won't even have time to enjoy life. How can you be alone!"

"But …"

"But what? Sigh, your egg is burning. Turn off the fire!"
