My Master Breaks Through Only at the Last Moment
Chapter 1340
Chapter 1340: Disorder
In the courtyard, Xu Fan observed the entire sect.
“The sect has changed a lot during my thirty thousand years of seclusion,” Xu Fan remarked.
“Ever since my husband started his seclusion, all the disciples in the sect, except those in the business department, have been focusing on cultivation,” Zhang Weiyun said beside him.
“That battle really shook them; it made them realize how far behind they were.”
“That’s a good thing. Back in the Three Thousand Realms, if you didn’t become a saint, you were nothing but an ant. Now that we’re in the Chaotic Mist Area, if you don’t become a chaotic saint, you’re still just an ant.”
As Xu Fan spoke, he kept an eye on the changes in his spirit and the system runic sphere.
He noticed that his spirit had entered a peculiar state, and at its core, there was a force of rules that surpassed even the chaotic wide road.
The changes in the system runic sphere, however, left Xu Fan scratching his head.
The sphere now consisted only of its core, wrapped in a thin outer layer of chaotic runes.
It seemed normal at first glance, but Xu Fan noticed that the layer of chaotic runes around the core was slowly transforming.
The chaotic runes were evolving into something higher.
Within his spirit, Xu Fan reached out and effortlessly broke through the outermost layer of runes in the system runic sphere.
Instantly, Xu Fan felt the system’s restrictions lift.
The Great Saint of Chaos level felt almost within reach.
But just as Xu Fan was about to dive deeper into his understanding, another layer of chaotic runes formed around the system runic sphere.
Xu Fan, who had been enjoying the sensation of unlimited progress, suddenly felt as if he’d been cut off mid-flow.
Annoyed, he broke through the new layer of runes, and the familiar feeling returned.
Around Xu Fan, chaotic wide road phenomena began to appear, one after another.
But they didn’t last long before fading away.
Xu Fan stared at the system runic sphere, feeling a bit exasperated.
“Can you at least give me a hint about what’s going on with you?” Xu Fan muttered, pulling out a piece of chaotic truth to see if the system runic sphere would react.
But the sphere remained completely still, even seeming to radiate a sense of disdain.
“Not interested, huh?”
At that moment, Xu Fan noticed that the newly formed chaotic runes shared a faint but similar aura to the core of his spirit.
So, he shifted his focus to the force of rules within his spirit core, which far exceeded the chaotic wide road.
As he delved deeper into his understanding, a familiar sensation washed over him.
An image flashed in his mind: a jade-colored fish swimming in a pool filled with liquid chaotic truth.
In that pool, Xu Fan felt as if he had touched upon the supreme laws of the Chaotic Mist Area.
"No way, I can’t comprehend this power because of the system’s restrictions," Xu Fan said as he broke through the outer layer of runes in the system runic sphere, entering an unrestricted state. The system needed at least three breaths to regain control, and Xu Fan used this time to understand the power within the rune core.
As soon as he touched the force within his spirit core, a strange and wonderful feeling arose in Xu Fan’s heart. At that moment, the disciples practicing in the Hidden Spirit Sect suddenly felt the wide road disappear, and the space around them turned into the purest form possible. In this space, Xu Fan felt as if he had become the creator.
Yuan Lord and others sensed the anomaly within the Hidden Spirit Sect and quickly appeared outside its gates. "Grape, has Xu the Divine Master come out of seclusion?" the Body Refinement Elder asked. "He hasn’t been out long; the master has entered a state of enlightenment again. Please wait," Grape replied.
Soon, the chaotic myriad paths within the Hidden Spirit Sect returned to their usual state, and Xu Fan awoke from his comprehension. "Disorder?" Xu Fan slowly uttered the word. He had just felt as though he had created a pure world devoid of any laws of power.
"Master, Yuan Lord, Lord of the Demon Domain, and six elders from the human race wish to visit," Grape announced. "Please bring them to the guest hall," Xu Fan ordered.
In the guest hall, Yuan Lord and the others curiously experienced the sensation of being pure beings. "It’s been a long time since I felt like a mortal. Xu the Divine Master, have you completely excluded the chaotic myriad paths from this experience?" Yuan Lord asked.
"This is the result of my thirty thousand years in seclusion. It doesn’t seem to belong to any specific chaotic wide road, so I wanted you all to feel it," Xu Fan said, glancing at the Arrow Dao, Body Refinement, and Law Form Elders.
The Law Form Elder gently extended his hand, and a flame ignited in his palm. Xu Fan sensed a slight change in the world. "This world heavily restricts me; I can only exert three-tenths of my power," the Law Form Elder said, astonished. "My physical realm has fallen to the saint level," the Body Refinement Elder added.
Lord of the Demon Domain’s eyes lit up. "When we fight in the future, Xu the Divine Master, using this world to trap enemies would make them easy prey."
"No, even in the world I created, I’ll face restrictions too," Xu Fan replied. "Right now, my understanding of this force of rules, which is higher than the chaotic wide road, isn’t deep enough. I’ll need to explore it more in the future." Xu Fan suspected that this was an ability only a Chaotic Great Saint or above could wield.
"Since we’re all here, and the situation in the Chaotic Mist Area has calmed down slightly, should we return to the Three Thousand Realms? Our family is waiting for us to unify it," the Body Refinement Elder said, clearly the most eager to unify the Three Thousand Realms.
"I think it’s a good idea. This way, we can return to our hometown in glory," the Law Form Elder added.
Everyone turned to Xu Fan. "Let’s go home. I’ll set up two super long-distance teleportation arrays so we won’t have to pass through any secret realm with Chaotic Great Saint-level giant beasts," Xu Fan said thoughtfully. Although he hadn’t gone to the chaotic center yet, based on the current situation, Xu Fan decided to wait and visit the chaotic center after passing through that secret realm’s trial.
"Alright, let’s all go home and help the human race unify the Three Thousand Realms," Yuan Lord said with a smile, radiating joy about returning home.
"Xu the Divine Master, doesn’t your sect still have a blood feud with the chaotic saint from the Wolf Clan? Shouldn’t we help you settle that before we leave?" Lord of the Demon Domain asked.
"Let the sect’s disciples handle that. They aren’t strong enough right now and need to cultivate for a while," Xu Fan replied. He had always remembered that feud but wanted the sect’s disciples to take action.
"Everyone should prepare to return; we’ll set off in one year."
In the First Transfer Exchange World, in the secret realm of delicacies opened by the Hidden Spirit Sect, Xu Fan and Luo were enjoying the delicacies together. "Is Master Xu really going to leave?" Luo asked reluctantly. Over the years, the high-quality Xuanhuang Supreme Treasures he received from Xu Fan had attracted much attention within the Heavenly Merchant Clan.
