Persatuben Prins
Chapter 24
The four of them stepped onto the chessboard. The smooth surface of the chessboard reflected their faces clearly.
"How do we get there?" Harry took a few steps forward but was stopped by the chess pieces blocking his way.
Ron was smart for once. "Obviously. Let's go. Harry, you take the front position, Hermione, and I'll be the knight." Apparently, he treated Pessatuben as invisible.
Pessatuben stopped Harry. "You've all played Magician's Chess before." He looked at Ron. "The loser will be defeated."
"Merlin!" Hermione frowned. "No, Ron, you can't take the risk."
"Then what should we do?" Harry was a little anxious.
Pessatuben looked at the wreckage around them. "Obviously, this was a complete chessboard because you can't guarantee that there will be enough people standing on the empty spots. If only one person comes, how can he get there?"
"That's right!" Harry also realized this.
"Reparo [Restore to Original]." Pessatuben pointed his wand at the wreckage around them. The pieces were restored to their original state.
"Why didn't I think of that!" Hermione was a little upset.
"No, it's useless even if you thought of it. According to our age, we can't learn this spell yet," Pessatuben said comfortingly.
Then, he used a levitation spell to return the chess pieces to their positions. "Ron, it's up to you."
"Okay!" Ron was eager. "The white pieces go first. Let's fight!"
Pessatuben was protecting Harry and Hermione, blocking the flying pieces from time to time.
"… I think Ron probably put all his IQ into Magician's Chess?"
Harry looked at the excited Ron and whispered to Hermione. Hermione nodded in agreement. She then looked at the Pessatuben who was protecting them with a conflicted expression.
"What do you think he's doing?" Hermione asked Harry. Harry shook his head. "He shouldn't be standing with us."
"Perhaps …"
Pessatuben took the time to look back. "Hey, little lions, I can hear you."
Hermione smiled awkwardly.
Pessatuben, on the other hand, was in a daze. He suddenly remembered that this was supposed to be the place where the three of them built their friendship. It seemed like it had been messed up. He did not know if there would be too many changes in the future. He hoped that the butterfly did not drop anything.
"Success!" Ron said happily.
The three of them hugged each other and jumped around happily.
'Seems like I was thinking too much.' Pessatuben smiled.
After the four of them went through the female toilet, they quickly passed the troll. Next, with Hermione's intelligence, they also passed the potion level smoothly.
After the potion level, there was a long sunken staircase. The four of them held their breaths and walked down slowly. It was so quiet that only their footsteps could be heard.
Harry suddenly held his head in pain.
"Harry?" Hermione looked at Harry with concern.
But before she could get an answer, she saw a familiar figure in the middle of a sunken room in front of a huge mirror.
"It's you?" Ron exclaimed.
Pessatuben tensed up and put on a defensive posture. He quietly took two steps forward, trying to block the three of them behind him.
"I thought!" Harry was also very surprised. "I thought it was Professor Snape!
This … this is impossible … he clearly … "He walked down the stairs bit by bit.
Hermione looked at Pessatuben apologetically.
The person who appeared in front of them was the timid and stuttering Professor Chilo.
Quirrell stood up straight. He was a completely different person compared to how he was during the day. He slowly opened his mouth and said, "He does indeed seem like a bad person. Therefore, with him by my side, who would suspect me?" He then pretended to be pitiful. "But … but … what about the pitiful Professor … Professor Quirrell?"
"But that day, during the competition, during the Quidditch competition, he wanted to kill me?"
Harry seemed to want to find some comfort. He obviously blamed himself for suspecting the wrong person.
"No, no, no, child." Chilo shook his head. "I wanted to kill you!"
Hermione's eyes widened. She couldn't believe what she had heard. She looked at Pessatuben again, a little embarrassed.
Ron was also shocked speechless.
"If Snape hadn't tried his best to chant the Counter Curse to save you, you would've been dead!" Chilo was obviously very angry.
"Snape wanted to save me?"
"I know you're a threat, especially after Halloween."
"You're the one who let the monster in!" Hermione suddenly reacted. "How dare you!"
"Yes, smart girl." Chilo said and glared at Harry. "Unfortunately, Snape didn't fall for it!
Everyone else was busy in the basement.
But he went straight to the third floor to stop me!
He doesn't trust me anymore and won't let me be alone. "
"No one can hide from Severus." Pessatuben frowned.
"And you, kid, you ruined my plan. You deserve to die too!" Chilo said with a strange smile. "But he doesn't know I'm alone."
"Not alone!?" Ron asked. "Who else?" No one answered Ron. Hermione secretly took out her wand. Harry's scar began to hurt again.
Pessatuben blocked Harry and the others behind him.
"What's this mirror for?" Chilo turned around and asked fiercely. "I see my desire come true. I have the Philosopher's Stone!
But how do I get it? "
[Use this boy —] A hoarse voice sounded. The three of them turned around, trying to find the source of the voice.
Pessatuben looked at Chilo with determination.
"Come here!
Harry!
Now!
Hurry! "Chilo roared crazily.
Harry looked at Pessatuben, who nodded to show that it was safe. Harry slowly approached Chilo.
"You can't do this!" Hermione tried to stop Harry.
"Pessatuben!"
"Shut up!" Chilo said angrily.
"Tell me!
What did you see?
Tell me! "Chilo's expression was ferocious.
Harry said, "I … I saw you shaking hands with Dumbledore. I won the School Championship."
[He's lying —] The strange hoarse voice sounded again.
"Tell me the truth!
Kid!
What did you see? "
[Let me tell him.] "But master, you don't have enough stamina." [It's enough to deal with this.]
Chilo took off the thick scarf on his head, revealing a strange face behind it.
"Oh." Ron was obviously frightened or disgusted. Hermione also covered her eyes.
"Harry Potter … and … this kid," the face said. We meet again.
"Voldemort —" Harry thought of the black shadow that drank the unicorn's blood.
"Don't move," Pessatuben said to Hermione. He took two steps forward and stood beside Harry. Hermione and Ron had a seed planted beside them. If anything happened, the seed would be activated and protect them.
"Yes, look at what I've become. Look at what I've done to live. I'm like a parasite in someone else's body."
Pessatuben secretly put his hand on Harry's shoulder, trying to give the frightened boy some support.
"The unicorn's blood can prolong my life. See if you can give me a body!"
Hearing this, Hermione covered Ron's mouth tightly to prevent him from screaming. She also bit her lower lip for fear of angering this monster.
"But there's one thing that can be solved. There's something in your pocket!"
Harry was shocked. He immediately covered his pocket and ran to the door.
"Catch him!"
Chilo snapped his fingers and the room was filled with flames.
The seed was touched and grew branches that weaved into an eggshell to protect Hermione and Ron.
Pessatuben cast a defense spell on Harry and pointed his wand at The Dark Lord.
"Oh, it seems that I've met a kid who doesn't know his place!
Surrender to me and I'll spare your lives. "
The Dark Lord said, "You're very familiar to me, so familiar that I feel like I've seen you yesterday. I can give you the greatest power!"
"No!" "You can't promise him!" Two shouts came from the eggshell.
"Never!" Harry answered firmly.
"You're just like your parents. Harry, do you still want to see your parents? Cooperate with me and I can bring them back to life."
"No one in this world can come back to life after dying," Pessatuben retorted.
"Liar!" Harry roared.
"Kill them!"
Chilo raised his hand as if he wanted to do something to the eggshell, but he underestimated the strength of the eggshell. He turned around and attacked Harry.
“Dea
Pecuninam [Entangling Thorns]! "
But obviously, Chilo was smarter than the monster and quickly dodged.
"Sectumsempra [Shadowless Divine Blade]!"
It only left a few wounds on Chilo's body.
Pessatuben was slammed heavily on the pillar by Chilo. He almost fell into the fire when he fell and tasted blood in his mouth. It seemed that his ribs were broken.
"Persa!" "Prince!" The two people who were protected in the eggshell obviously couldn't help much. They could only worry helplessly.
"Cough, cough —" Pessatuben got up, but Chilo had already grabbed Harry by the neck. "Touch him, quick!"
Harry struggled and obeyed Pessatuben's order. He put his hands on Chilo's neck.
"What did you do?"
Chilo let go of Harry's neck in pain and found that his hands had lost their moisture. They quickly dried up and turned into powder.
Harry looked at his hands and seemed to have found a way. He quickly rushed to Chilo and pressed his face.
Chilo's face began to corrode. Harry took a few steps back and Chilo's body turned into powder, leaving only an empty piece of clothing.
Harry heaved a sigh of relief and wanted to pick up the magic stone that had fallen on the ground.
"Harry, watch out!"
Pessatuben saw a black fog condense above the powder and quickly attack Harry.
But it was too late. The black fog passed through Harry's body and he fainted.
The black fog passed over the flames and disappeared at the entrance.
Pessatuben took back the seed and let the two people out.
"Harry!" Ron ran to Harry. "He fainted."
Hermione tried to help Pessatuben up.
"Ugh — don't move. Let me lie down. My ribs are probably broken."
"Then what do we do?" Hermione said anxiously. "We can't bring you back. There's also the fire around here!" Hermione looked around.
"Don't worry."
Bosatuben comforted. After he finished speaking, he summoned a small silver snake in the form of mist. "Go find the principal." The small snake flicked out its tongue and lightly flew over the flames.
"What's that?" Hermione asked curiously.
"It's a high-level magic spell."
Pessatuben explained. "It can occasionally be used to transmit messages, but it requires a very strict control of magic power."
"Okay." Hermione pursed her lips and said, "I'm sorry for my previous doubts."
"It's okay. You did it for Harry. It didn't cause any negative effects. I accept your apology." Pessatuben waved his hand casually, but ended up pulling on his wound. He gasped.
Hermione gave him a look that said, "Serves you right." Then, she was pulled to stand in front of the mirror by Ron, who introduced Hermione to the miraculous features of the mirror.
In the end, the four of them were brought back by Dumbledore. Four students were sent here in the middle of the night, and two of them were obviously injured. This made Madam Dumbledore very angry, and she reprimanded Dumbledore again.
Ron and Hermione mourned for Headmaster Dumbledore, the scapegoat.
In the end, Hermione and Ron checked that there were no problems. They were each given a bottle of tranquilizer and sent back to the dormitory. Harry had no other problems except for some abrasions. They could only wait for him to wake up.
Pessatuben was more pitiful. He was ordered not to do anything and had to wait for his bones to heal. So, he could only stay there.
