Super Virus Saves the World

Chapter 2

Tony Stark didn't expect that he would end up in the hospital when he just went to eat dessert. The Iron Man who fell from the sky attracted everyone's attention. Tony didn't care about those gazes and flashes. He hugged the girl who was still unconscious in his arms. The girl's expression was more painful than before, as if she was enduring some kind of torture.

Tony didn't dare to delay when he saw Alice's appearance. He quickly came to the emergency room according to Jarvis's direct gaze and handed Alice to the doctor in the emergency room.

Tony carefully put Alice on the bed. The doctor opened Alice's eyelids to check her condition and asked Tony what had just happened.

What Tony didn't expect was that the doctor imagined an accident caused by the Iron Man.

"Has this young lady suffered from any diseases before?"

Tony had already opened his mask. He shook his head and said to the doctor, "I'm sorry, I don't know."

Then Tony explained the accident that had just happened. The doctor was also surprised when he heard that Alice was the owner of the popular dessert shop.

"This young lady looks like she's suffering from pain. I don't think it has anything to do with shock. We'll check her immediately."

The doctors and nurses surrounded Alice. The last thing Tony saw was Alice's pale face after her mask was taken off. Tony frowned. He thought that Alice was going to blend into the white sheets at this time.

Because Alice needed to be checked, Tony sat on a chair outside and waited. At this time, his artificial intelligence butler, Jarvis, said to Tony, "Sir, do you want me to pick up Miss Pepper's call?"

"Jarvis, please tell me that this is not a call to reprimand me."

Jarvis was silent for 0.1 seconds. He told Tony in a regretful tone, "You're probably going to be disappointed."

After the call was picked up, Pepper ignored Tony's "sweet talk" and asked directly, "Are you still in the hospital?

What happened? Those reports said that you sent a girl to the emergency room? "

Tony Stark's secretary and guardian, Little Pepper, didn't tell Tony the whole thing. In order to attract attention, many tabloids said that Tony caused the accident. There were even rumors that Tony brought his secret lover to see the doctor.

Pepper only wanted to sneer at this. Tony Stark didn't have any secret lover. If he was in love, he would let the whole world know.

So Pepper was willing to listen to Tony's explanation this time... She was satisfied with the answer after the explanation..

"It's just a hero saving a damsel in distress."

Tony told her what happened just now. Pepper quickly searched for the relevant news. There were indeed one or two news reports about an accident on the street that Tony described.

"So, Pepper, why do you think a patient can stop an off-road vehicle with one punch?!"

Pepper heard Tony talking to himself and hung up the phone "politely". Before hanging up, she told Tony not to create any more news. She was busy with the acquisition these two days and didn't have time to solve his problem.

When Pepper hung up the phone, Tony complained to Jarvis, "I feel that after I broke up with Pepper, she's more like my mother."

Jarvis: What you need is a guardian, not a lover …

Tony was a little concerned about Alice's situation. The doctors and nurses examined Alice but couldn't come to a conclusion. Tony only saw that they drew more blood from Alice's blood vessels.

"Jarvis, what disease do you think Miss Alice has?"

Jarvis hesitated for a second, "Sir, I can't make a judgment about this. But from Miss Alice's signs, I suspect that she has … leukemia."

The results of the examination came out quickly. As Jarvis said, the doctor regretfully told Tony that Alice had leukemia and had entered the mutation stage. At this stage, the human body would have developed resistance to drugs. Ordinary drugs could no longer control Alice's condition.

"At this stage, we recommend chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, but … this young lady's body is too weak. The result of a bone marrow transplant won't be ideal."

When Tony heard the doctor's words, he showed an expression that said, "Are you kidding me?". Tony looked at Alice lying on the hospital bed. She did look weaker than ordinary people, but Tony didn't think that Alice was too weak to accept a bone marrow transplant.

He looked at Alice lying on the hospital bed and whispered to the doctor, "Is there a problem with your examination? This young lady just stopped an off-road vehicle with one punch."

"I think … this is probably the last outbreak."

If it wasn't Iron Man standing in front of him, the doctor would have said, "Are you dreaming?" From the results of various examinations, it was hard to say if Alice could bend a fork, let alone stop an off-road vehicle with one punch.

Tony looked at the doctor in silence, "Is this the only choice?"

"I don't need a bone marrow transplant. I'll be fine tomorrow."

Alice woke up at some point. She interrupted the conversation between Tony and the doctor with a weak voice. At that time, Tony thought Alice was comforting them. Later, the cruel reality gave Tony a loud slap. When Alice said that she would be fine tomorrow, she really was fine!

"I also believe that you will be fine. What you need now is rest."

The doctor had heard too many words like this. In the doctor's view, this was a good sign. At least it proved that Alice still had a strong desire to live, which would be good for her future treatment.

"Miss Alice, I also think that what you need now is rest."

Tony had taken off his armor. He sat on the chair beside Alice's bed and whispered to her, "And I will help you redecorate your shop. Don't worry."

"It really doesn't matter. I'll be fine tomorrow."

If it weren't for the fact that she was seriously ill and didn't have much strength, Alice would have rolled her eyes at Tony and the stupid doctor. Alice thought to herself, "Don't they understand my words?!"

She was really going to get better tomorrow!

So when Tony showed an expression of understanding, Alice sighed. She was now eagerly looking forward to the arrival of the next day.

Because of her weak body, Alice quickly fell asleep again. Before falling asleep, she once again emphasized the fact that she would be fine soon.

Tony, who didn't understand Alice's meaning at all, left temporarily after paying Alice's hospitalization fee. He needed to find Pepper to explain the situation and make an appointment with the decoration team tomorrow. Tony hoped that when Alice got better, Alice would honor him as a VIP in the dessert shop for the sake of his help.

Midnight soon came. Alice, who was sleeping, suddenly opened her eyes. Her pale face became ruddy at a speed visible to the naked eye. She looked at the hospital gown on her body and frowned. Alice snapped her fingers and the hospital gown on her body appeared neatly beside the bed. She changed into a set of casual clothes.
