Super Virus Saves the World
Chapter 4
Alice Thanos believed that the famous Tony Stark had amnesia, which was a dangerous thing. People with amnesia could easily be deceived into doing bad things. In order to prevent Tony from "ruining" his reputation, Alice decided to have an in-depth conversation with Tony to see what he still remembered.
As for Tony, who didn't have amnesia, he was successfully fooled by Alice's serious expression and began to answer questions seriously. Tony thought that the reason for his amnesia was very simple. Too many strange things had happened in the past 24 hours, so much so that Tony had a feeling that Alice's leukemia mutation was just a dream, and he really did have amnesia.
Fortunately, the Iron Man was still the Iron Man. Tony shook his head and quickly sobered up. He thought that this wasn't right. If he really had amnesia like Alice said, his AI butler Jarvis should have reminded him.
If Tony didn't have amnesia, then there were only two options left to explain everything. One was that Alice had twins, twins with leukemia. The second option was that Alice had a special ability, and she was the one who had amnesia.
Between the two options, Tony was more willing to believe the first option. However, the world was so big that nothing was too strange. If he were to disregard the appearance and look at the substance, Tony's heart began to lean towards the superpowered version of Alice.
After all, not everyone could stop a speeding off-road vehicle with a punch.
Tony tasted the Browny in front of him with a fork. This piece of Browny tasted exactly the same as yesterday. He first praised Alice's dessert skills, and then said to Alice, "You sold me a Browny cake yesterday."
"Yesterday …" Suddenly mentioning such an accurate time and event, Alice began to think seriously. She found that her memory in this area was missing. Even if Alice turned her brain upside down, she still couldn't think of the Browny cake mentioned by Tony. So Alice said with a smile, "Mr. Stark, yesterday or before today, I didn't sell you a Browny cake."
Alice's words were too certain. The more she was like this, the more Tony knew the answer in his heart.
He looked at Alice's ruddy face and said in an affirmative tone, "So how long have you lost your memory, Alice?"
Things like memory loss couldn't be said carelessly. Alice would never admit the fact that she lost her memory. So she looked at Tony who didn't seem to be joking and asked, "Mr. Stark, are you sure you didn't recognize the wrong person?
Maybe there really is a face crashing monster in this world. "
Tony shook his head. How could there be such a coincidence? He was sure that Alice was the one who lost her memory and forgot everything. This also explained why Alice disappeared before the ward round.
Tony successfully imagined what happened last night: Alice, who woke up in the middle of the night, suddenly lost her memory. She didn't know why she was in the hospital, so she sneaked out of the hospital when no one noticed and came back here.
Tony thought that he was really a genius. He successfully solved the puzzle.
"Is Miss Alice a mutant?"
The person who lost her memory was confirmed. Tony began to be curious about Alice's identity.
Tony thought about it for a long time, but he couldn't find a superpower with similar abilities. So he suspected that Alice might be a mutant who was more mysterious.
Mutant?!
Alice's brain deleted part of the information at midnight, the kind that didn't have a backup. It included the things that happened the day before and some common things. The term mutant was in this "file" that was accidentally deleted.
Since Alice's memory about mutants was deleted, she held her chin and thought for a moment before asking Tony, "What is a mutant?"
Tony: …
Tony patiently explained about mutants. At the same time, he was more certain that Alice's amnesia was accompanied by a loss of common sense.
The reason why Tony was so sure was very simple. Mutants were indeed mysterious, but not to the point that they were unknown. When Alice asked what a mutant was, it was completely exposed.
Tony thought of the disease that Alice couldn't detect before. He thought that it might be temporary amnesia caused by the pressure of the blood vessels on the brain nerves caused by the virus.
Tony, who imagined a series of virus pressure and partial memory loss, thought, "I'm really good."
Probably subconsciously, Tony glanced at his watch. He found that at this time yesterday, an off-road vehicle driven by a Golden Retriever rushed into the shop …
Before Tony could react, he heard a violent crash. Just like yesterday, the off-road vehicle without a driver was rushing in his direction. Tony quickly equipped the armor on his palm. Who knew that Alice would appear like yesterday and stop the off-road vehicle with a punch.
Looking at the scattered glass and the fleeing Golden Retriever, Tony found that the only difference between today's accident and yesterday's was that Alice didn't faint. She stood in front of Tony and patted her head as she remembered something.
This incident was about her shop's time reversal in the early morning, so the exact same thing happened.
Alice's expression suddenly changed. If this was the case, then 90% of what Tony Iron Man Stark said was true.
"You —"
No, Alice thought she needed to be alone. She snapped her fingers, and Tony, who was sitting opposite Alice, disappeared into thin air. At the same time, Alice put one hand on her forehead. This time, she would never be stupid enough to use the Time Restoration Magic. If she used this magic, her dessert shop would have a new scenery.
Tony, who was teleported home by a snap of fingers, sat on the sofa in the hall of the Stark House and rested his chin on one hand. "Jarvis, now I'm beginning to wonder how I came back. Was it really a snap of fingers?!"
Alice A Snap of Fingers Thanos: Achoo!
Alice, who had lost her memory, didn't panic after careful consideration. After tidying up the shop, she thought that as long as she didn't forget the important people or things, it would be fine. For example, she had a date tonight. The date was her neighbor, Peter Parker, and the place of the date was Peter's house. That was to say, in addition to Alice and Peter, there was also Aunt May tonight.
In order to not visit empty-handed, Alice personally made an extra custom-made chocolate cake for Peter Parker and Aunt May.
Usually, Alice would never make an extra piece of cake, but for the sake of Aunt May, she made a small precedent. Alice took off her uniform and changed into her usual clothes. She glanced at the time and disappeared. If you carefully observed the place where Alice stopped, you would find that there were no footprints.
She rang the doorbell of Aunt May's house. Alice heard a sunny voice coming from inside. The voice belonged to a boy. The boy said loudly from inside the door, "Wait, I'll open the door."
A few seconds later, the door opened. Peter Parker, who was still a high school student, stood at the door and greeted Alice with a smile. "Alice, you're here!"
"Peter … Oh, this is a cake for you and Aunt May."
Peter took the chocolate cake from Alice's hand. He stood there with a confused expression. In Alice's words just now, Peter heard at least three different tones.
When Alice called his name, she hesitated. Then, she suddenly realized something. Finally, it became a statement.
Peter touched his cheek with his free hand. He wondered if something had happened to him in the past few days.
After inviting Alice in, Peter ran to the kitchen to store the cake. Peter looked at Aunt May, who was busy. He walked over and whispered to Aunt May, "Aunt May, have I changed recently?"
Aunt May didn't look at Peter. She just stood there and shook her head. "Peter, go and ask Alice what she wants to drink and about her homework."
Before she lost her memory, Alice thought that this was just a simple dinner between "friends." Who knew that Aunt May had something to ask of her. When Aunt May visited the dessert shop last time, they had a conversation. During the conversation, Aunt May hoped that Alice could help Peter Parker with his homework. Alice, who was a good person, gladly accepted and even agreed on a time. Unfortunately, she didn't expect that she would lose her memory, so … the amnesiac Alice successfully crashed.
Alice almost choked on the pie in her mouth. "Do I have to tutor Peter?"
"Have you forgotten, Miss Alice?"
Alice didn't dare to say that she had forgotten. She could only find a more euphemistic excuse. She laughed twice and said, "I'm old. My memory is not good."
Peter and Aunt May looked at Alice at the same time. Alice smiled calmly.
