The Demon Was Captured by the Master

Chapter 14

Wukong and Xuanzang went on their way again.

With the experience of being captured and rescued in one piece, Xuanzang began to intensify his efforts to "deliver all living beings from torment."

”。

When he first met Wukong, Xuanzang only occasionally saw small animals that fainted from hunger, such as snakes, scorpions, toads, puppies, and so on. He would go forward to save them. Before he was captured by the Little White Dragon, his method of saving them was to stuff his own rations and herbs into their mouths. After he learned that Tang Seng meat could cure all diseases and strengthen the body, he began to directly bleed and cut his flesh.

At that time, Xuanzang only dared to save the small ones, and only dared to carefully cut a little bit of flesh from his palm to feed them.

Now, he had begun to take the initiative to look for "poor 'little' people in need of help. Moreover, he was becoming more and more brazen in cutting his flesh. He was extremely daring, and he had accumulated a lot of experience.

Because when he cut off a piece of flesh, it would immediately heal before a few drops of blood could flow out.

As long as he casually wrapped that piece of cloth, when he pulled it off again, it would be as clean as new.

Xuanzang often taught Wukong, "To deliver all living beings from torment, you have to start from small things. Don't think that small things don't make you do it.

Soil piled up to form a mountain, sand piled up to form a tower, water droplets penetrate stone, and three feet of ice was not formed in a day … Don't lie in the cradle of fantasy and sleep. Only by constantly practicing the belief of delivering all living beings from torment can all living beings truly obtain happiness. Otherwise, the ideal of delivering all living beings from torment will always be empty words. "

When Wukong heard this, he felt that … it made a lot of sense.

Wukong did not like to pursue too many things, nor did he want to be too serious. He used the experience of being suppressed by the Five Fingers Mountain for 500 years in his previous life to learn a truth: being muddle-headed was a good thing.

If he wasn't so serious about the actual attitude of the Heavenly Court towards him, if he wasn't so serious about the way the immortals dealt with the 'lower bound' like him, if he wasn't so serious, if … then he might have already lived a carefree life after becoming a Buddha.

No matter whether you belong to Buddhism or Taoism, you will be integrated into the big family that represents the righteous path. No one will see you as a troublemaker, pick on you, secretly look down on you behind your back, or not invite you to a large gathering … Even if you don't want to attend a large gathering, it doesn't matter. As long as you announce to the public that you are going to live in seclusion deep in the mountain and refuse to receive guests, no one will bother you. You can live as you wish in Mount Huaguo. It doesn't matter if you want to plant peach trees or lie down for hundreds of years. It doesn't matter if you study how many stones there are in Mount Huaguo with monkeys.

Keep your eyes on your ultimate goal and focus on doing your job well.

This was the experience of Wukong's many years of monkey life.

Wukong's current goal was to live a carefree life like in his previous life. What he needed to do was to send Xuanzang safely to the Great Leiyin Temple in the Western Paradise and help Xuanzang obtain the true scripture.

Therefore, he didn't care if the Bodhisattva came or not. He didn't care if the Little White Dragon joined the team to obtain the scripture. He also didn't care if something strange happened to Xuanzang.

He just wanted to make sure that Xuanzang was still Xuanzang, and that he still needed to obtain the scripture. That was all.

Even if the Bodhisattva went missing, the Little White Dragon betrayed him, the abbot of the Avalokitesvara Temple died, and the Black Bear Spirit went crazy, the small animals that should hibernate in winter still fainted on the roadside due to hunger. The demon aura on the road to the west was so strong that there were fewer and fewer people. The people that they should have met all disappeared. Xuanzang gradually went on the path of madness and became addicted to giving Tang Seng meat. Wukong still believed that as long as they went all the way to the west, they could see Buddha and obtain the true scripture.

Until one day, Xuanzang sent Wukong to look for food. When he came back early, he found that Xuanzang was secretly roasting a wild rabbit behind his back.

Wukong still had a bag of bracken, shepherd's purse, and Chinese toon sprouts in his arms. He found a Chinese toon tree in a mountain bay nine miles away. Thinking that Chinese toon was a rare good vegetable, he deliberately came back and put down the wild vegetables that he had already picked. He wanted to go back and pick more to eat on the road.

He didn't expect that when he came back excitedly, his master was … eating meat.

Was eating rabbits something that a family member should do?!

Moreover, this monk was killing!!!

The wild vegetables in Wukong's arms fell to the ground with a crash. Xuanzang gently bit a piece of rabbit leg meat and turned around. The corners of his mouth were still glistening with oil and two cumin.

Couldn't he cover it up a little?

At least hide the remaining half of the roasted rabbit in his hand, right?

At least wipe off the oil on his mouth, right?

"Master, what are you doing?!" Wukong stood in the middle of a pile of wild vegetables and said in despair.

How could he let the monkey go to the Buddhist scriptures in peace!

"Ah!"

Xuanzang suddenly realized something and touched his bald head. As if he finally realized his mistake, he wiped the corners of his mouth with his back to cover it up. Then he turned around again, exposing the roasted rabbit in his hand to Wukong's vision.

Wukong watched Xuanzang raise the rabbit meat to him and then said, "Wukong, do you want to eat some?

You are so thin. "

Thin you Vajra, thin you Buddha, thin you Ksitigarbha!

Wukong repeatedly chanted "Amitabha" in his heart dozens of times. Finally, he resisted the urge to blurt out all the names on Xuanzang's genealogy. With a twisted face, he asked again, "Master, can you explain why a monk like you is eating rabbit meat?"

"Wh — — Why — —" Xuanzang repeated Wukong's words word by word, as if he was carefully digesting the meaning of his words.

After a while, he replied, "Of course it is because I am hungry.

After diligently eating vegetarian for half a year, your master's mouth is so bland, of course, I have to reward myself.

Oh!

Wukong, you are wondering how the rabbit in my hand came about, right?

It's like this, wasn't your master sitting on the tree stump over there waiting for you to come back?

When I wasn't paying attention, a rabbit rushed over. Before I could react, it crashed into the tree stump and died.

Your master thought that since it was already dead, it would be a waste if your master didn't eat it.

A rabbit died here for nothing. Since your master saw it, I have to let its rabbit life end with some value … "

Finally, Xuanzang concluded, "So Wukong, do you want to have a bite?

It tastes very good. "
