The Seventh Week
Chapter 17
"Sako, where are we going?" Naruto's eyes were covered by gauze. He stretched out his hands and asked anxiously.
Sako held Naruto's arm and carefully led Naruto around the rocks on the ground. "We're almost there."
Behind her, he gently unbuttoned the gauze. "Open your eyes."
The breath behind Naruto's ear tickled him. His long eyelashes fluttered, and his sky-blue eyes reflected the golden sunlight.
The wind at the top of the mountain blew Naruto's golden hair up and blended in with the sunlight.
At the bottom of the mountain was an endless sea of red flowers.
Naruto stared blankly.
It was as beautiful as a summer dream. For a moment, he thought he was still dreaming.
"Fire Escape – Firework Technique." Zuo Zi formed a complicated seal.
Sparks flew from the edge of the sky and lit up the entire blue sky.
Like a meteor shower in the daytime, fiery red fireworks fell from the sky and landed in the endless sea of red flowers.
Sako looked at Naruto with a gentle and serious gaze. "I'll make it up to you for the fireworks you missed two years ago."
Naruto clutched his chest. It was as if there was a restless rabbit in his chest.
In the following dreams, he had seen this beautiful scene countless times, but none of them were as beautiful as this one.
"Sako, you're here." Infield smiled and put down the flowers in his hands.
A light fragrance floated in the air of the small and cozy flower shop.
The red roses were blooming passionately on the shelf, the purple stars were leaning against the white lilies, and the proud narcissus stood alone in the crystal vase, like the noblest and most reserved princess of the dynasty.
Sako walked through the flowers in the shop and walked to Infield, who was as bright as a blooming sunflower.
"I've wrapped it for you."
Sako took the carefully wrapped bouquet from Infield. "Thank you, Infield."
"I won't." Infield waved his hand and looked at Sako carefully. "Can I accompany Sako to visit Uncle and Auntie?"
"Huh?" Sako was stunned. "It's okay. Infield still needs to look after the store. I'll go by myself."
Sako walked to the door with the bouquet and waved at Infield. "Goodbye then, Infield -chan. I'll come and play with you another day."
Ino looked at Zuo Zi's departing figure, and the smile on her face gradually collapsed. She was a little disappointed. Obviously, she also wanted to spend more time with Zuo Zi.
In the cemetery.
Sako placed the bouquet in front of the tombstone and bent down to sweep the dust off it.
The tombstone was very simple. There was only a picture and a name.
To be honest, her mother's picture was very ugly. It was a standard ID photo.
If her mother knew, she would pretend that she didn't care. However, she would be so angry that she would want to change the picture.
Unfortunately, this was the most sacred cemetery in Konoha. Sako couldn't change the picture secretly.
Her father's picture still had that cold and stern look on his face.
For a long time, her father's name was a legend used to scare Uchiha children. It was said that as long as an adult mentioned their father's name, even the most mischievous child would quieten down.
However, only Sako knew that her father liked children very much. However, he pretended to be serious to protect his dignity as the head of the family.
Zuo Zi took out a space scroll from his trouser pocket and formed a seal with both hands. The white smoke dispersed and a bottle of sake appeared on the seal of the scroll.
Sako didn't know anything at first. It was her Brother Shisui who taught her bit by bit.
She didn't know that her father liked to drink sake. Sako snuck a sip. It was bitter and spicy. It didn't taste good at all.
After pouring the sake on the tombstone, Sako turned around and left this land of slumber alone.
On the way home, Sako met that person again.
It seemed that every time she came to visit her parents, she would see him at this place.
Kakashi stood alone in front of the tombstone like a silent statue.
His hands were always empty. He didn't speak and just stood there quietly. It was as if he had a thousand things to say but couldn't say them out loud.
It was as if he was just standing there with no thoughts on his mind.
Sako felt that this Kakashi wasn't the same Kakashi who was helplessly cooking in the kitchen.
But they were clearly the same person.
"Sako?"
"Hm?" Oh no, did she stare for too long …
Kakashi lifted his head helplessly. She really did stare for too long, Sako.
"Ah, I wanted to ask if you want to come to my house for dinner." Oh no, shut up. What is she talking about?
"…?"
Looking at the back of the fleeing girl, Kakashi turned his gaze back to the familiar name on the Memorial Tablet and smiled softly.
He turned around and left the place as well.
Something … wasn't right.
Zuo Zi frowned. His running footsteps could not help but stop. The fog … seemed to have unknowingly become thicker.
Tsk, using illusions in front of Uchiha, he was looking down on her.
The twin tomoe spun in her eyes and all the illusions disappeared.
"Haha, you're a good kid."
An unfamiliar ninja wearing a black uniform with red clouds stood in front of Sako with a cold smile on his pale face.
Sako took a step back and secretly made a hand seal …
When did …
Her waist was restrained by an ice-cold arm and a cold aura spread over her head.
"Don't make any unnecessary movements, Uchiha … Sako."
Two large white snakes wrapped around Sako's body. The person behind her was as cold as a walking corpse.
This person … knew her.
"What do you want?" Sako let go of her hands and didn't move.
"Good kid."
The ninja let go of Sako's arm and walked in front of Sako. "I don't mean any harm. I'm here to give you information out of goodwill."
The ninja emitted a cold aura and didn't seem to have any good intentions. "The person who killed your parents is from Akatsuki."
"Akatsuki …?" Sako clenched her fists and looked at the person with a burning gaze.
The large white snake slowly slid down Sako's body, the slimy reptile body gave Sako goosebumps.
"Yes, they have the ambition to subvert the entire ninja world." The ninja's eyes were like a reptile's, flashing a mysterious light.
There was no doubt that this person wasn't a good person who didn't want anything.
Kakashi, you're not here yet?
The ninja smiled and didn't expose the child's clumsy trick.
To be able to do this at this age is already very good.
"Who are you?
Why are you telling me this? "
The ninja laughed hoarsely. "Call me Orochimaru … I'm still your elder."
