The Seventh Week
Chapter 20
At the police station.
Sako sat on the chair with her head lowered, not saying a word.
The sheriff placed his hands on the table and turned to look at Kota Aizawa. "Mr. Eraser Head, this child, you see …"
Kota Aizawa covered his forehead with his hand. Kota Aizawa didn't know, so don't ask Kota Aizawa.
"So, who are your parents?
Call them and get them to pick you up. "
Sako lowered her head and fiddled with her fingers. If I knew, I wouldn't have stayed here for so long.
"Uncle, I was wrong, okay?
Just let me go. "
Sako raised her head and said to Kota Aizawa. Her tone sounded like she was begging for mercy, but her face didn't show any signs of begging.
Kota Aizawa smiled devilishly. "Where's the boy with you?
Call him over and get him to take you away. "
After ten minutes of ideological education, Sako spat out the gray soul from her mouth. How would she know that the boy who obviously had something to do with her would suddenly leave her on the spot?
Kota Aizawa felt a headache coming on. He just wanted to bring the child to the police station to teach her a lesson and let her know the seriousness of the situation. He wanted her to know that she shouldn't fight with enemies for no reason in the future, but he ended up with a hot potato that he couldn't get rid of.
"Okay, okay, you can go."
Kota Aizawa waved his hand and didn't want to continue. He wasn't someone who didn't have anything to do with his life.
"I'm here!" A hearty voice came from the door.
Kota Aizawa sighed in relief, his back slumped weakly. That guy was as energetic as always.
Ourumit, who was carrying two prisoners, walked in with her signature smile. She placed the prisoners on the ground and two police officers came forward to put restraints on the prisoners' wrists.
"Haha, isn't this Eraser? What are you doing here?"
Kota Aizawa's shoulders were held, and his body was bent over. He said weakly, "A child was trying to be a hero at the crime scene. I caught him and sent him to the police station."
"Oh?
Was it this girl?
Hahaha, not bad! "
Sako dodged the large man's hand that was about to caress her hair and frowned.
What was going on with these people?
The mountain-like man crouched down and stood on his tiptoes, curling himself into a ball. His sky-blue eyes were fixed on Sako, and he had a big smile on his face. "Young girl, it's good that you have the heart. But at your age, it's already very good that you can protect yourself. If you really want to be a hero, wait until you get a hero license when you grow up, then protect others!"
The man stretched out his fist, as if he wanted to give Sako a fist bump. His face was filled with a very infectious sunny smile.
The outstretched fist froze in mid-air for a long time without a response. The man's smile was about to stiffen.
"I'm not interested in being a hero." Sako looked into Ourumit's eyes and said softly.
"I'm already clear that I can't use my abilities at will. Can you let me go now?"
Ourumit's gaze became complicated. This child seemed to be different from what he had imagined.
Obediently withdrawing his fist, Olumet's face didn't show the slightest hint of displeasure. He continued to smile as he said to Zuo Zi, "Of course you can. We won't detain a child as old as you, but you have to let your parents pick you up before you can leave."
The child's parents should be the ones being educated. No matter what, there was no reason for the child to go back on her own after such a thing happened.
In the end, they were back to square one. Sako glanced at Kota Aizawa.
Kota Aizawa gave Sako a helpless look.
This man was truly difficult to deal with when he was serious.
It was impossible for the little brat not to inform her family. Originally, he wanted to be merciful and let her go.
Sako sighed. "My family is very busy. Please, uncle, let me go."
"If that's the case, then all the more reason to inform your family, girl." Ourumit patted Sako's shoulder and smiled, revealing his white teeth.
In the end, Sako didn't say anything. Of course, she didn't know who her family was in this world. Or rather, she didn't even know if she had any family.
The two people who had successfully obtained Zuo Zi's identity through facial recognition and fingerprint recognition in the police station's system fell silent.
Olumet walked in front of the girl who had her head lowered and didn't say a word. He gently squatted down.
The girl with black hair and black eyes looked at him silently. She didn't look cold, but it was as if she was thousands of miles away from him.
Why didn't he notice it from the start?
They had the same black hair and the same clear eyes.
The red words on the file about the death of her parents stung his eyes.
Why didn't he notice it earlier … He let this child bear so much alone …
She was his master's descendant.
Fortunately, the heavens sent this child to him again.
"Why are you crying …"
"Nothing … I'm just … too happy.
Sako, you don't know, I'm actually … "
Sako tilted her head. Was this how they recognized each other?
She looked suspiciously at the man who was crying like a child in front of her. Sako didn't understand why he was crying like this when they were unrelated.
Kota Aizawa gently patted Ourumit's shoulder. Although he wasn't familiar with Ourumit's master, he could more or less understand his friend's feelings.
But don't embarrass yourself too much, the sheriff is watching …
"Sako, are you willing to be adopted by me?"
"Huh?"
Sako's eyes widened. If she didn't hear wrong, this guy was her grandmother's disciple.
Why was he acting so familiar with her?
With a complicated expression, Zuo Zi looked up and down at the sincere man squatting in front of her. She turned her head away awkwardly. Although she finally seemed to understand her identity in this world, she still said, "No need."
Sako looked into the man's eyes and jumped off the chair. "Don't take a stranger's responsibility as your own. You just met me today, right?"
"Because a hero can't just stand by and watch others suffer." Ourumit smiled at Sako and gave her a thumbs up.
Although she didn't seem easy to get along with, she was clearly a nice girl.
Master, I'm afraid I can't let this child live a normal life like you want.
