You Look Delicious.

Chapter 7

Eddy loved chocolate.

When you went out on dates, you often saw him chewing chocolate with puffy cheeks, like a puffy squirrel in your eyes.

Not only did he eat it himself, but he often fed it to you, which made you brush your teeth more carefully recently to avoid cavities caused by too much sugar.

So —

It was wet.

Slightly sweet.

Soft.

Chocolate-flavored.

You thought of the beer and champagne in the bar on Tuesday nights, the moist, cold air on the bridge, the wind whining through the helmet, the lights and ribbons of the merry-go-round.

The stars and the evening breeze that you shared were all reflected in his caramel-colored eyes. You held his cheeks as if you were stroking a flower that bloomed quietly in the moonlit night.

Kisses with the cool air of the night fell under your eyes, cheeks, ears, moist, intimate, with a sweetness that could only be detected after careful tasting.

The slit at the corners of your lips opened softly, and the slippery tongue slid in. He let out a low gasp from his throat, and his hand on the back of your neck went from light to heavy, gradually pulling you closer to him.

"Your hands are too cold." He licked and nibbled your neck. "You're wearing so many clothes."

"You're too hot." You leaned back against the sofa uncontrollably. "I suspect you're hiding a thermal pad under your shirt."

"Do I?"

Eddy chuckled softly, his long dark eyelashes fluttering slowly. "Check it out."

When your hands had fully absorbed Eddy's warmth, he inhaled as if he couldn't take it anymore, and pulled your hands out from under his shirt, which had only three buttons left in place.

You stared at his wet lips that were slightly stained with lipstick. He gasped and covered your eyes directly.

"You should take a shower."

His voice was low and muted, like water droplets in gravel. "… and then rest early."

"What?"

[What??]

You said very seriously, "But I want to …"

"Shh," he whispered.

The hand covering your eyes moved to your lips.

"… wait a minute." Wait until I tell you the biggest secret.

You took a bite out of the soft flesh in his palm.

Eddy was unmoved. She narrowed her beautiful eyes at you.

"Be a good girl," he said. "Do you want me to strip you naked and throw you into the bathtub?"

"Sure."

"…" Eddy's eyes flickered, and he pretended that he didn't hear anything. Seeing that he failed to communicate with her, he picked her up with one hand and carried her into the bathroom, not forgetting to bring his newly bought toiletries and bathrobe.

He closed the door neatly, and was about to leave when he turned back and knocked on the door.

"Don't catch a cold."

He sounded so righteous, as if he wasn't the one who kissed you on the sofa and almost drove you away.

[— Eddy.]

"I have a feeling that you don't have anything good to say. Let's not talk about it."

[Oh … please allow me to express my sympathy to you. One out of five men will be like this.]

It was impossible for Venom to shut up. He mocked Eddy very rudely.

Eddy took a deep breath, "Do you want to die?"

[Don't tell me it's because you forgot to buy a condom. You've been carrying it with you since the first date.]

"Shut up."

[What a bummer.]

Venom said slowly, [Why don't I come out and play with Arya?]

"Great.

How about we go and experience an MRI tomorrow? "

Venom didn't care about Eddy's inner struggle at all. He laughed with his low voice that was quite in line with the image of a villain.

[You're afraid that she will be scared by the truth.

Think about it, being intimate with a person who can turn into a monster, she may reject you, abandon you, leave you … She may even feel disgusted.]

Venom was like the dark side of his heart at this time, whispering those dark thoughts in his ear. [Am I right, Eddy?]

Eddy absent-mindedly tidied up his bedroom. For a while, there was only the sound of things being picked up and placed.

This time, the silence in the air lasted for a long time until he finished everything. He stepped back and leaned against the wall, quietly listening to the faint sound of water.

The sound of water finally returned to silence.

"Yes." Eddy said to the air, "You know everything, there's no need to ask me."

[I'm not asking you.

You already have a plan in your heart, but you're hesitating.]

Venom said, [I have to help you make up your mind.]

[I can keep silent and never appear in front of her.

But you don't accept such deceit, so the only choice left is to confess to her and get rid of that damn position.]

"What's next?"

Eddy said casually, but laughed at this absurd scene, "You come out, we go directly to Arya and tell her — 'We are Venom'?"

[We are Venom.]

He continued, [We are still Eddy.]

[From the moment you accepted me, we have been inseparable.]

"Wait." Eddy made a pause gesture, "Why do I remember that you refused to leave?"

[Because I like you, Eddy.]

Venom, this bastard, never knew what shame meant. [It's very comfortable to live on you … But recently I've been liking that girl more and more. It's not a bad idea to play with her.]

He seemed to think this was a good idea. [I can stay on her for a while, so you don't have to explain to her. You can even exchange experiences … Aha, Arya will definitely like me.]

Eddy interrupted him with a blank expression, "Do something."

[I'm not a human.]

…

After everything was done, the two of you sat on the bed and looked at each other for a while. For a while, no one knew what to say.

"Um … Good night?"

Eddy coughed, "Good night."

But the whole bed was filled with Eddy's smell, not to mention that he was half an arm away from you.

You stared at Eddy, who was lying flat with his hands clasped in front of his chest, until he had to compromise and turn his head.

"I want to sleep with you in my arms." You said with bright eyes.

Eddy's eyes widened pitifully. His face said, "Do you have the heart to do this to me?"

"I promise I won't do anything to you."

"…" Venom let out a barbell-like laugh again.

Eddy ignored him and rubbed your hair, "Can't sleep?"

You nodded, "Yes."

He smiled a little, "How about I tell you a bedtime story?"

"Okay."

Once upon a time, there was a little boy who didn't like to be obedient.

When he was supposed to be practicing piano, he would climb the tree to look for a bird's nest.

When he was supposed to be learning etiquette from Ms. Margaret, he would play in the fireplace and get dirty.

Others would obediently put on their socks, but he liked to make one side high and the other low.

When the teacher was teaching, he would rather read comics under the table. All his grades were a mess. The teachers couldn't do anything about him, and the students were a little afraid of him. Everyone said that he would hang out with the hooligans on the street every day after school.

In fact, he just didn't like the boring learning, and couldn't wait to play around after school.

But everyone said so, and later he really did hang out with the hooligans, fighting, drinking and getting tattoos.

His parents were heartbroken and afraid that he would never amount to anything, so they were full of regret until it was too late.

Eddy's voice was low, deep and soft, and he stroked your hair again and again, so sleepy that you felt that every time you blinked, you might fall asleep immediately.

"But he's a good boy." You mumbled, "He's so sweet, and he never wants to hurt anyone."

You stopped stroking your hair.

You felt Eddy lean over and kiss your forehead.

Later, he told his parents that he thought it would be cool to do a press conference.

This was indeed not a joke. After a few years, he became a reporter … 'I did what I liked, and I did it well.'

"You're about to fall asleep." She moved her finger in Eddie's palm.

"Then he encountered a strange thing.

Oh … it was really strange. He was the only one on earth who had encountered it.

The dark companions from the comets became a part of him. They were reporters by day, but at night they were venom … humm, occasionally eating someone's head, a very, very small number of people. "

The voice telling the story suddenly became low and magnetic, making your ears tingle uncontrollably.

You were half asleep and half awake, and subconsciously you thought it was strange. But the heavy sleepiness slowed your brain down, and you just made a small sound.

…

"It's not a bedtime story at all, you idiot."

"Who said so?" The voice chuckled. "Our girl is very happy to hear it."

"It's' me '!

There's no 'us'! "

"Don't be so mean. Even you are mine."
