I Only Have One Piece of Land

Chapter 10

After a moment of chaos, Ian finally put the escaped bird snake into a teacup.

He jumped into the suitcase with the teacup. Abigail looked around the room and was stunned.

Siris lazily leaned against the window sill and glanced at the messy room. He waved his hand and said, "It's just some broken furniture. I don't think this sofa is that good." He patted Abigail's shoulder and said, "Don't be sad. I'll give you a leather one later."

Loki crossed his arms and looked at the dog expressionlessly. Hearing his words, he sneered.

Siris didn't like this person when he was a dog. Hearing his mocking voice, he raised his chin and snorted.

Loki crooked his finger, and Siris narrowed his eyes and moved his head closer.

With a bang, Loki slammed the window, and the glass hit Siris's nose directly.

He covered his face and jumped up. Abigail saw this and didn't have time to mourn for her furniture. She hurried over and held Siris's head so that his face was facing up. Then she hurried to get a tissue.

Ian finally climbed out of the suitcase, but as soon as he came out, he tripped over a chair on the floor.

Abigail was flustered. She had just stopped Siris's nosebleed and quickly got up to help Ian. Just as she was about to go over, Ian stepped back with his butt.

She moved her fingers awkwardly and retreated to the other side to keep a safe distance from him.

Ian got up, turned around, and looked at the mess in the living room. He rubbed his nose, put his hand into his pocket, and took out a small pile of bird snake eggshells.

He stuffed them all to Siris and quickly pointed at Abigail.

Siris nodded and gave the eggshells to Abigail. "He's compensating you."

"All for me?" Abigail was a little confused when she suddenly received an armful of silvers. "So much?"

"It's useless to him anyway."

Siris had a paper ball stuffed in his nose. A few strands of his long hair were draped over his forehead. Even with the paper ball stuffed in his nostrils, it did not affect his handsomeness. "Take it."

Abigail hesitated for 0.1 seconds before giving in to the money.

"It's almost dawn. I have to go home."

Ian looked at the time and crawled out of bed. He grabbed his suitcase and said, "It'll be bad if Elena discovers that I'm missing!"

He opened the door and ran out, apparently forgetting that there was a magical animal that he had forgotten to take with him.

Twig carefully leaned against the glass window and watched as Ian left. Then, it jumped back into Loki's pocket.

Siris's nose stopped bleeding. With a flick of his finger, he accurately threw the paper ball into the dustbin and regained his composure. He patrolled the house with Abigail. "This house is really too small. I didn't realize it before, but now that I'm a human … a human … it's really small!"

Then hurry up and leave so that I can clean up the house.

Abigail was pulled around the house three times. She did not know how to ask him to leave.

"I can help you clean up all the trash!" Siris snapped his fingers. "Wait until I get my wand back!"

No need. After you leave, I can sell these things to the system for money.

Abigail looked at the room for help, but she didn't know what was wrong with Loki. He closed the window and refused to come out.

"Well …" After hesitating for a long time, she finally said, "It's almost dawn. You should go back and rest."

Go back?

Go back to where?

Siris did not want to go home. His trip to New York had just begun.

Seeing that he was not moving at all, Abigail had no choice. She looked around the house. "Hey, where's my dog?"

Siris froze. Abigail took the opportunity to break away from him and ran to the window. She knocked hard on the window and glared at Loki, who had his back to her.

Twig stuck out his head from Loki's pocket and touched Loki's face with his leaves.

He had not turned a page from the beginning until he heard Abigail knocking on the window. Then, he deliberately turned a page.

He had read the book a hundred times. The book was rotten!

Abigail complained and knocked harder on the window.

"… Although your dog is very handsome, some things can't be forced.

I can buy you an owl. Thank you for taking care of me all this time. I'll take you to England … "Siris moved closer and chattered.

In the room, Loki suddenly closed the book and stood up. Abigail immediately stood at attention. He put the book on the shelf and turned around slightly.

"Why do I feel like he rolled his eyes at me?" Abigail felt wronged.

No, not to you, to me.

Siris did not care about this man at all. What's the use of having long legs? He can't even step out of the window.

He continued to shake Abigail's finger. "Do you know Quidditch? I have the latest Nimbus 1001. I promise I'm the first to get it in the whole of England. I can …"

With a bang, the window was suddenly opened. Something was thrown out and landed directly on Siris's face. He was startled and screamed. He let go of Abigail and touched his face with both hands, trying to get the thing off.

Twig hit Siris's face with a leaf and looked back at Loki sadly, as if looking at a heartless man.

The heartless man walked to the window and looked at Abigail coldly.

After living together for so many days, Abigail understood what Loki meant in a second. He didn't like outsiders. Tonight, two people appeared inexplicably. It was estimated that he had reached the limit of his patience.

She pushed Siris's back hard and pushed him out of the door. "Go home!"

She closed the door with a bang. She leaned against the door and breathed a sigh of relief. Before she could deal with the mess in the living room, she ran to the window. "Loki?"

Loki finally looked at her face.

Abigail blinked and reached out her hand in his direction.

After a while, she still couldn't get Loki over. Abigail's mouth drooped. How could this person be like this? She was ready to coax him, but he didn't let her speak. How could she coax him?

She retracted her hand and looked around the living room. Then, she looked back at Loki who was scowling.

Something moved on her foot. She lowered her head and picked up Twig, put it on the windowsill, and watched it run happily towards Loki.

She wanted to run over too.

Abigail watched Twig jump onto Loki's shoulder, but if she ran over like this, she might be trampled to the ground.

She sighed and asked the System to take away the garbage in the living room.

"You're such a coward." The System was disappointed. "This is your home!

You're the one who raised him!

Why are you afraid of him! "

"I'm afraid that he'll be angry."

Abigail didn't think there was a problem. "What if his favorability drops when he gets angry? I've worked so hard to get to 30!"

"He can't get out anyway. You have all the time to get more favorability." The System looked at the character relationship interface and said, "Oh, oh!

Abby, there's someone whose favorability is almost 50! "

"Siris."

Abigail wasn't as excited as the System thought. "He seems to like me a lot, but why?"

"You're pretty and cute. If he doesn't like you, he'd be blind."

The System said brainlessly, "I think this guy is also very good-looking and treats you well. Why don't you change it to him?"

"You think I'm changing the sofa!"

Abigail used the money from selling the garbage to buy a new sofa that was softer. She sat on it and felt it was not bad. "Besides, he looks very young. I think he's still in high school."

"Raising him!"

The System was very generous. "It's like raising Loki. You just need to feed him and play with him."

"That's raising a dog!"

Abigail took out the bird snake's eggshell. She thought for a while and kept half of it. "Where's my dog?"

After changing the money, she bit her finger and thought for a while. She covered her heart and added a bookcase to Loki's room. Then she leaned over and leaned half of her body on the windowsill. Her hand slowly reached towards Loki's direction.

She put the new bookcase next to the window. The System's furniture was very magical. The bed came with a three-piece set and the bookcase came with a bookcase.

Loki was already used to Abigail's ability to build a house out of thin air. He walked to his new furniture and ran his slender fingers across the temporarily new books.

Ah!

He touched Loki's forearm!

Abigail didn't let go. "That, the bird snake didn't scare you, did it?"

I can kill two of these lowly creatures with one hand.

Loki, who had lost his magical power, obviously forgot his current situation and snorted arrogantly.

It was fine as long as there was a reaction.

Abigail was relieved. "That, did you see that dog?

Did it run out by itself again … Why are you looking at me like that … "

"You …" Loki raised his eyebrows. His eyes drifted to the door and then to Abigail's face.

"Could it have been eaten by the bird snake?"

Abigail's breath was stuck in her throat and her eyes were red. As long as Loki nodded, she would cry in the next second.

"No." Loki was speechless.

"Really?" Abigail stopped crying and looked at Loki suspiciously with her red eyes.

"Really, it ran away by itself." Loki said dryly. He thought that he was right.

She wiped her face and became happy. "It's so smart. How could it have been eaten? It must have run away immediately. I knew it. If it was eaten, how could there not be a single hair left?"

Loki recalled Siris's head. It was black and curly, just like dog hair.

"Right!

My computer! "

Abigail stepped on a pile of wood debris. It was the desk in front of the window. "It's over. There's nothing left of my computer. I haven't uploaded my manuscript yet!"

She screamed and began to pull her hair. "It's over. I wrote more than 8,000 words. It's all over now."

Suddenly, Abigail didn't feel guilty about the silver egg that Ian gave her as compensation. Silver was nothing!

Money was nothing!

Could these vulgar things buy her imagination and time?

She had only managed to come up with 8,000 words after two nights of hard work!

All!

Gone!

Gone!

Her ponytail was pulled loose by her. Her grimacing appearance was really ugly.

Loki felt that it was too much for his eyes. He took Abigail's laptop from under the windowsill and slapped it on her.

Abigail grabbed the laptop in a hurry and opened the document to check. She then quickly uploaded it to the mailbox. Only then did she breathe a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness you're here …"

She looked up sincerely and put her hand gently on Loki's hand. "You're so nice."

Her eyes were still a little red and her hair was messy. Her face was a little pale because she didn't sleep for the whole night. But she still opened her eyes wide and looked up at him. "You're so nice."

"Aiya!

Aiya! "The System shouted." Favorability increased again!

33 points! "
