I Only Have One Piece of Land

Chapter 2

"Tonny, investigate this person."

The door was broken open. Tonny pushed the model away and touched his nose. "Oh, hello, Natasha."

A look of disdain appeared on Natasha's face. "Is this how you work when Pepper isn't around?"

Tonny gestured for the model to leave. She glanced at Natasha, bent down, and pulled Tonny's tie to kiss him, but he dodged.

She stomped her foot angrily and walked out of the room, swaying in her high heels.

"Pepper is on vacation. Why do I still have to work?" Tonny mumbled, then stretched out his hand to Natasha. "Who do you want me to investigate?"

Natasha raised her wrist, and a projection appeared above the office. Abigail's back appeared on the screen.

As the camera slowly turned, her entire face was revealed.

Natasha said, "… Her mission seems to be related to the courthouse explosion. There's another mission after that. I think it should be related to what we've been investigating …" She paused and frowned. "Tony Stark!"

"Wow." Tonny rubbed his chin with one hand and replayed the image with the other. "This is God's masterpiece."

Jeans and a T-shirt couldn't hide the girl's long legs and slender waist. When the image turned, the first thing that could be seen was a pair of heavy breasts. Big-breasted girls usually couldn't pull off a white T-shirt, and would look fat and vulgar. However, this girl's pure and cute face didn't look out of place at all.

Her blonde hair was tied into a ponytail, and a few strands of hair fell next to her delicate face. Her diamond-shaped lips were red and full, and her big watery eyes were slightly upturned. There was a slight mole under her left eye, which made her look playful.

"Jarvis, I want all the information on this girl in three minutes!"

Tonny wanted to crawl into the image. "She definitely isn't from New York. How can I have no impression of such a beautiful lady?"

Natasha tried to hold it in, but when she couldn't take it anymore, she retracted the image and strode out of the playboy's office.

Abigail had no idea what was going on. She continued to write trash novels to earn money. One day, she couldn't write anymore, and her friend Cap didn't reply to her messages. She stared at the document for a whole hour before she realized that she hadn't left the house for two days.

Ah!

She stood up and quickly took out a can of milk from the fridge to heat it up. She grabbed a few pieces of pie, put on her coat, and ran out.

She came to an abandoned building and walked into the hall. She walked to a corner and picked up a big black dog. "Sorry, I forgot about you!"

Aowuu.

The big black dog had been sleeping soundly, but when it was suddenly pulled up, it almost bit off Abigail's paw.

Damn it!

If it wasn't for my keen sense of smell, you would have become a cripple!

"I knew you wouldn't look for food yourself." Abigail hugged the dog's head and whispered, "Let me see if your tail is better."

She stroked the dog's tail and nodded with satisfaction. "Stop it, I'll give you something to eat."

No!

Let go of me!

The big black dog struggled again, and Abigail hugged its head even tighter.

"When I get the money, I'll treat you to jerky."

Abigail had been holding the milk in her arms, so it was still warm. She poured some milk into a small bowl in the corner and put it in front of the big dog. "Although it's not much."

The big dog hesitated for three seconds, then stuck out its tongue and licked the milk bit by bit.

"If only my writing could be better."

Abigail drank a mouthful of milk and said sadly, "There's nothing I can do. I came here the moment I opened my eyes, and I don't even have friends. My life is blank. How can I write a good novel?"

She leaned against the wall and sighed. "There's a bill every week, and the money is so little. I sold my bedside table last week, and I don't have enough reward points. I don't know when I can change my lifelong expectations. Sigh, when do you think my life will get better?"

After the big dog finished licking the milk, it nudged Abigail's palm with its head, indicating that it wanted more.

Abigail broke the pie into two and gave half of it to the dog. Then she rubbed the dog's head. "Why don't I find someone to marry and have children with?"

The big dog looked up and glanced at her, as if it was mocking her.

Abigail's shoulders slumped. "Sigh, you're right. I can't even understand what people are saying. How can I get married?"

The big dog raised its paw and patted her knee. "It's okay. Sometimes I can't understand what you're saying anyway."

At this moment, a loud noise came from upstairs, followed by the sound of chaotic footsteps. Abigail grabbed the big dog and stood against the wall.

Four strong men ran down the stairs with guns, and one of them was carrying a box. After a few steps, the window was smashed, and an iron can flew in from outside!

Oh my god!

Abigail hugged the dog's head tightly and looked at Jianlibao flying in. She tried to hide in the shadows.

Two more people came down from behind. One was a woman in a tight black leather jacket, and the other was a man with a bow.

The few of them started to quarrel, and Ashley silently hid in the darkness. Although she did not pay attention to this world, she would still use the Internet in the library.

The Iron Man was fighting against evil villains. She was just a weak passerby. Why did she have to be involved in this drama?

It didn't take long for them to start fighting. The few big bosses didn't even notice that there was someone hiding in the corner. They fought so fiercely that the little invisible Abigail trembled in fear.

The box in the strong man's hand was kicked away, and a pile of green stones rolled to the ground. Some of them rolled to Abigail's feet. She looked at the few people who were still fighting fiercely and did not move.

The big dog seemed to be uncomfortable from being strangled by Abigail. It started to struggle, but she did not catch it and let it run away.

She bit her fist and watched as the stupid dog ran into the battlefield and bit the calf of a burly man who was trying to escape through the window. Although the dog was very obedient in front of Abigail, it was still very dangerous.

In fact, it was like a calf. With one bite, the strong man almost broke his leg.

Soon, everyone was subdued. Tin Can patted the big dog's head, and the archer tied them up. The woman in the leather jacket picked up the box and picked up the stones one by one. She picked up the box and picked up the stones one by one. She picked them up and picked up Abigail.

The two women were shocked, but the woman in the leather jacket calmed down quickly. She opened her mouth and said something.

Squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak …

Abigail looked up blankly and did not know what was going on.

The woman in the leather jacket frowned and raised her hand. This action shocked her, and she quickly shrank back. The big dog quickly rushed in front of her and growled at the woman in the leather jacket, not allowing her to come closer.

Tony Stark felt that he had gained a lot from tonight's mission. He did not know why, but he had been searching for information about this girl for two days, but to no avail. Even Jarvis's powerful information network could not dig up any information. Two days had passed, and he did not even know her name, let alone pay her a visit.

He made sure that his face was not injured, then took off his armor and walked out of mark 6. He smoothed his suit jacket, trying to calm the frightened deer.

Well, it would be even better if Natasha could knock out the big dog in front of Xiaolu who didn't know any better.

Maybe because he had just patted the dog's head, the big dog's resistance to him was slightly weaker.

Tonny tried to approach the girl, "Guala guala guala guala …"

Abigail was about to cry. She frantically called the System in her mind, "What should I do?

I don't understand what they're saying! "

The System was also silent. It did not know what to do.

The more nervous she was, the easier it was to rely on familiar things, even if it was just a dog.

Abigail could not help but grab the black dog's fur. Can I just use a little more strength?

The back of its neck was bald.

The big dog could not help but turn around and bare its teeth at Abigail.

Idiot!

Let go of me!

The big dog was too fierce. It had almost bitten off a strong man's calf. If it could not control it, the girl would have to be amputated.

Tonny did not have time to think. He grabbed the girl's wrist and pulled her to his side.
