Chapter 201: It Seems the Demon Race Won’t Come Anymore

Just as the magical guidance surgery led by Lolth in the Interrogation Department was successfully completed, dawn quietly arrived.

It has been four days since the magic tide burst.

Near the New West Line and Palgauro City, a group of demon dragons circled high in the sky, confirming that there were no changes in either the areas with strong Holy Light or the New West Line before returning to Palgauro City.

In the place of Holy Light, within the Divine Kingdom projection created by “Divine Spell – Eden Falls,” Janine Irene sat beside the Lady of Light’s carriage, gently dozing.

The Lady of Light sat at the front of the carriage, maintaining the divine spell while also gazing up at the illusion of the Garden of Eden in the Land of Light that she had summoned to the sky.

As she observed the golden apple trees, the softly glowing lawn, the rivers flowing with milk and honey, and the golden fences, this paradise-like scene so close at hand made the Lady of Light ponder a question.

“Will the Abyssal Demon… really not come?”

She whispered softly.

This gentle whisper also woke up Janine Irene, who was dozing nearby.

The young Paladin heard the saintess’s murmurs and immediately sprang up, drawing her sword from her waist and looking around cautiously.

“Demon race? Where is the demon race?”

As commander of the Oracles Knight Order, Janine Irene’s actions quickly affected all the knights of the Oracles Knight Order nearby.

Even this group of Paladins, who came from the church, were well-trained and had stronger willpower than ordinary knights, yet might feel somewhat relaxed after not seeing any enemies for four days.

“However, if the demon race remains motionless, even though both of them have infiltrated successfully, how are we supposed to assist Patricia and Dorothy afterward?”

She asked this, and the Lady of Light smiled.

“Don’t underestimate a Great Sage and the descendant of a hero; they do not require ‘assistance.'”

Saying this, the Lady of Light lowered her head again.

“Your Holiness, the Church has received a message from the Cloud City Wizard Association. Lady Patricia has now returned to her Mage Tower, but according to Patricia, the Light Artifact has been left near Vera Plain Hillenbrand Town.”

The priest of the Church reported anxiously.

Hearing this news, the high-ranking members of the oracle and several priests with higher status in Seychelles displayed looks of surprise.

Then, they grew anxious.

“Your Holiness… should we head to Hillenbrand Town immediately?”

“The power of the Holy Light from the Divine Artifact is very obvious; the demon race will surely notice it soon.”

“Commander, let’s attack now!”

Janine Irene looked at her eager subordinates and smiled confidently.

“Don’t worry, everything is part of the Lady of Light’s plan!”

“Next, you will witness another miracle!”

Janine Irene’s tone was somewhat fervent, and the Lady of Light stood up once more.

“Holy Eden, please grant me the Lord’s staff, so I may carry out the Lord’s authority!”

The reason Eden Falls is called the Supreme Divine Spell is that its power is not merely to open a realm like the Divine Kingdom.

Within this realm, the caster can even temporarily gain the projection power of a Light Artifact.

Soon, the power of Holy Light gathered in the Lady of Light’s hands, transforming into the exact appearance of the Rod of Eden that Lolth and her group had seen before.

But the Lady of Light did not release a divine spell using the projection of the Rod of Eden; instead, she channeled the power of Holy Light through the Supreme Divine Spell – Eden Falls, enhancing its spread outward.

Soon, the Lady of Light sensed the true Rod of Eden thousands of miles away, strongly resonating with the Holy Light power that was exactly like her own.

Next, the Lady of Light immediately chose to cancel the divine spell that allowed her to obtain the Rod of Eden, returning the projection of the Rod of Eden to the descending projection of the Garden of Eden.

The projection of the staff slowly rose, and the Garden of Eden began to “retrieve” the projection of this staff.

Similarly, on the other side of the continent, the Garden of Eden seemed to sense another staff’s “vibration,” starting to pull back the true staff as well!
