Persatuben Prins
Chapter 20
"Headmaster Dumbledore," Pessatuben muttered as he stared at the Eris Magic Mirror, "I want to eat some dessert."
"Oh?"
Dumbledore was slightly surprised, but quickly reacted. "What do you think of pineapple preserves, child?"
"I think I'll like it."
After lunch the next day, Pessatuben cast an Ignore Spell on himself and quickly walked to the headmaster's office.
Looking at the stone monster at the entrance of the corridor on the third floor, Pessatuben said the password. The next second, the stone monster came to life and jumped to the side. The stone door in front of him slowly opened, revealing a stone staircase that went up continuously.
Pessatuben barely took two steps when the stone door closed again.
"Sit down, child," Dumbledore said in a friendly manner.
"I think you can roughly guess?" Pessatuben looked at Fawkes on the side and did not sit down.
Dumbledore stopped smiling and his expression became serious. "I've always felt that you have a steadiness that surpasses your peers, and that you have — whether Severus — exists —"
"Yes, Headmaster Dumbledore, I think you might be interested in some things."
Pessatuben thought for a while and decided to show him the promise between the future Dumbledore and Severus.
He extracted a part of the memory from his mind and gave it to Dumbledore.
Dumbledore was only a little surprised by Pessatuben's proficiency in magic control, but on second thought, he did not care too much.
He took the memory and put it into the meditation basin.
Pessatuben took the opportunity to slowly approach Fawkes. The little red bird seemed to have smelled the fragrance of plants and moved a little closer to Pessatuben. It took out some bird food and whispered to Fawkes in a bribing tone, "Give me some tears and this is yours."
Obviously, the bird food was very attractive. Fawkes tilted its head and hesitated for a moment before squeezing out a few tears from its small eyes. Pessatuben quickly collected them and the bird food in his hand was taken away.
"Is — is this true? That person, he's really back?" Dumbledore recovered from the meditation basin and asked, somewhat forgetting himself.
"Promise me, Mr. Headmaster, you won't tell anyone about this!" Pessatuben said sternly.
Dumbledore was obviously hesitant. "You know everything, child, what —?"
"Yes, I know everything, from beginning to end, but I swear on my life that I will not harm anyone."
Pessatuben frowned. "You may want to know everything, but I hope, I hope that you can promise me that you won't try to change anything. I can only say that the end, the end result is good."
"Yes," Dumbledore, Dumbledore ''s. Dumbledore.
"Headmaster Dumbledore, there's a saying in the Muggle world: the butterfly effect.
Even a small difference can lead to a huge change. We can't afford this kind of change. "Pessatuben stared into Dumbledore's eyes.
"In my opinion, this is already the best result," Pessatuben muttered.
"I died in the end, didn't I?"
"Yes, Severus followed your orders and finally gained The Dark Lord's trust. This caused The Dark Lord to underestimate Harry and be defeated in the end."
"… Yes …" Dumbledore opened his mouth, wanting to say something.
"You've already started training Harry, haven't you?"
Pessatuben interrupted. "As you know, other than him, no one else can complete the language. After going through so much, he had the determination to face The Dark Lord. Do you really think that The Dark Lord will be defeated so easily?"
"I … I don't know, child. I used to think that I was right, but now that I think about it, I was wrong. If my death could make up for it, I think I'd be more than happy to die." Dumbledore sat in his chair, lost in thought.
"Actually …" Posthuben revealed his true purpose. "I didn't want to tell you all of this. After all, you probably wouldn't believe me. After all, I'm just a child, isn't that so?"
Dumbledore shook his head. "I think I'll choose to believe you. If you're really Tom, I think Harry …"
"Thank you for your trust, but you can't die … What I mean is, pretend to be dead. I don't want Severus to be criticized by the magical world after everything is over. Even if he's a spy, he still killed a great Light Magus in the magical world, didn't he?"
"But there's no resurrection magic in this world."
"I can …" Pessatuben said. "I can.
I only need your blood and soul. "
"Soul?
Child, you … "Dumbledore obviously thought of The Dark Lord.
"All of your soul … The second before you die, I'll extract it and put it in a container."
"My old bones are going to die anyway. What's there to be afraid of?
But if you want me to pretend that nothing happened, child … that's really difficult. "Dumbledore was still hesitant.
"What if I say that many people will die in the end?"
Pessatuben: "In exchange, Headmaster Dumbledore, I think you'll realize that I'm not really a child. I have the ability to save them. But in exchange, you have to go on without any mistakes."
"An unbreakable oath."
"Headmaster, I hope you didn't call me here because you were bored."
Severus strode into the headmaster's office and saw Pessatuben. "Or is my student causing you some trouble?"
"Severus, I just want you to be a witness," Dumbledore said with a smile.
“?”
Severus obviously realized that this wasn't an ordinary 'witness'. "I didn't know that my student had exceeded your expectations?" He looked a little angry.
Dumbledore looked at Pessatuben, who shook his head slightly.
Pessatuben reached out his right hand and grasped Dumbledore's right wrist. At the same time, Severus pressed his wand against their hands.
Dumbledore and Pessatuben had serious expressions. They opened their mouths almost at the same time.
"I swear that I will obey the will of time and will not change anything."
"I swear that I will save those who shouldn't leave and escape from the darkness."
After they finished speaking, Severus's wand spat out two red tongues of fire that wrapped around their hands. It took a long time for them to dissipate, which was enough to prove the magic of their oath.
Dumbledore solemnly put a strand of memory into the meditation basin. The memory was too heavy, and he didn't want it to affect his state of mind.
Severus crossed his arms and looked at the two, trying to get an explanation.
"Headmaster Dumbledore, don't forget that thing," Pessatuben reminded him.
Then he quickly ran away, not daring to look at Severus.
"Mr. Headmaster."
Severus asked fiercely, "You dared to make an unbreakable oath with a 12-year-old child!
Are you going to destroy him? "
Dumbledore shook his head and comforted him, "Severus, it's not me, it's him."
"You dared to agree to that?" Severus was very angry. "As a headmaster?
You agreed without any refusal or persuasion? "
"He knows everything."
Dumbledore looked at the person in front of him who looked like he was about to explode. It was rare to see Severus like this. Ever since Pessatuben entered the school last year, Severus seemed to have been dyed with a hint of color, even if it was only a little.
"He's not a child."
Severus put away his anger and slightly mocking gaze. His face was expressionless. It was impossible to tell whether he was happy or angry.
"Did you tell him?" Severus asked in return.
"On the contrary, Severus. That child is more stubborn than I thought."
"Even so, it's hard for me to imagine that it was you who dragged a child into this."
Then he turned around and was about to leave.
"Severus," Dumbledore shouted, "That child likes you a lot. You can feel it, right?"
Severus stopped in his tracks.
"He's a good child, Severus. Even if you don't like him, you should be nicer to him.
He's always cared about you.
Don't lock yourself in the same room. "
The only reply he got was a heavy snort.
He didn't know what Dumbledore did, but Pessatuben saw a bottle of red liquid on the table as soon as he returned to the dorm. A note with the words' Use it wisely 'was underneath it.
Pessatuben chuckled and put the bottle into his storage space.
There were no classes during Christmas, and the teachers weren't as strict as usual. Madam Hooch even took the interested first graders and taught them how to ride brooms. It was hard to see Ravenclaw students in the castle because they spent most of their time in the dorm and the library.
Pessatuben also received a Christmas gift from Princes Manor and a gift from the Malfoy Manor. It was sent by Lucius and didn't have anything special about it, but it was very Malfoy.
Soon, the castle was bustling with activity again. It snowed and bloomed, which meant that the Christmas holiday was over and the students had returned to Hogwarts. However, the happy atmosphere of seeing friends again did not last long. Because with the arrival of the new semester, there was a test.
On the way to the hall, Pessatuben saw Draco putting away his wand and proudly showing off something to Gore.
In the distance, a figure jumped and disappeared.
"Draco?" Pessatuben walked up.
"Hi." Draco saw Pessatuben holding a few books. "You're going to study too?"
"That's the plan.
But you just …? "
"It's Gryffindor's idiot. He actually chanted in the corridor and almost chanted on me." Draco looked dissatisfied.
"He's so stupid that he can't even chant a spell properly. I'll teach him a lesson."
Pessatuben sighed. "Draco, that's not how a noble should behave."
He tried to persuade him. "You're very talented. You can't ask too much of them, right? After all, not many people can be like you."
Draco frowned and nodded reluctantly.
"Come with me!" Hermione shouted from afar.
Then the three ran past Pessatuben and the others like the wind.
"Hey!
Watch the road!
Potter! "Draco shouted fiercely.
"Sorry, sorry —" Harry's voice drifted away.
