Persatuben Prins

Chapter 22

"Wait," Draco suddenly said. "Did you guys hear that?"

Harry shook his head.

The three of them walked along the small path for a while and unknowingly came to a more open area. There was an ominous aura around them, as if someone was watching them.

Pessatuben slowed down his steps and slowly moved forward. His years of vigilance made it easy for him to sense the danger around them.

After turning a corner, they saw a tree that had been chopped down. Under the moonlight, a group of silver-white unicorns were lying weakly on the ground. A black figure was looking down at them, hissing as if it was drinking something.

"Ugh —" Harry suddenly covered his forehead with a pained expression.

Draco panicked. "Hey, Potter, you … you can't pretend to be sick and run away!"

At this moment, the black figure suddenly raised its head and looked at the three of them. They couldn't see its face, but they could vaguely see a mouthful of ugly teeth and a fierce roar coming from its throat.

"Ah —!"

Draco screamed in fright. He immediately hid behind Pessatuben and covered his mouth, trying to prevent the black figure from noticing him.

"Don't be afraid."

Pessatuben's tone was calm as he stood in front of the two of them. However, no one knew that under the wide sleeves of his school uniform, his tightly clenched fists were covered in sweat due to nervousness.

The black figure slowly wandered towards the three of them, as if it was sizing them up.

Pessatuben protected Draco and Harry as they slowly retreated.

But when they were four or five steps away, the black figure stopped and a hoarse and unpleasant voice came from the black figure. "How interesting — a familiar smell — but I can't remember —"

Just as the black figure approached again, the chaotic sound of horse hooves came from behind. Pessatuben didn't dare to turn around, afraid that the black figure would do something unexpected. Obviously, The Dark Lord still didn't dare to reveal himself while he was in possession.

He raised his head and looked behind Pessatuben and the other two.

A mighty figure stepped over the three of them and blocked the black figure's path. It tried to kick the black figure with its front hooves, but the black figure quickly dodged and ran away unwillingly.

"Harry Potter, you have to leave quickly. All the animals here know about you. Moreover, the Forbidden Forest isn't safe now, especially for you." The figure turned around. It was a centaur with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse.

It was Firenze. Pessatuben had seen him before when they were collecting materials... but they weren't familiar with each other...

"But you just saved us," Harry said, stepping forward. "But what was that?

That black figure. "

"That's a monster," Firenze explained, "Killing a unicorn is a serious crime. Drinking a unicorn's blood can prolong one's life. Even if one is on the verge of death, the price to pay is extremely high. Killing such a pure creature, from the moment its blood touches your mouth, you will be cursed and will be half-dead for the rest of your life."

"But who could that person be?"

"Who do you think wants to drink his blood?

Mr. Potter?

Who do you think would want to extend their lives? "Firenze asked.

"You mean — — Voldemort?" Harry guessed.

"Do you know what's hidden in the school right now?"

"Sorcerer's Stone." Harry quickly thought of the answer.

Draco poked Pessatuben. "What's a Sorcerer's Stone?"

"A stone that can turn things into gold and revive the undead." Pessatuben replied softly.

"Now, let's go back to school, children."

"Wait." Pessatuben said.

"That unicorn isn't dead."

"But it's almost dead." Firenze said.

"It can still be saved."

"?" Firenze obviously thought that the unicorn was dead. "You?

Brat, you better not play any tricks. Even if you help this creature, you won't get anything in return. "

Pessatuben didn't care about this.

Under Firenze's gaze, he walked towards the unicorn and crouched down to touch the wound on its neck. The unicorn's eyes were filled with caution, but it was obvious that it was too weak to move. It could only watch as Pessatuben placed something on its neck.

It was a crystal core that he had secretly taken out from the space. It was a pure wood elemental power of nature, and it contained great healing properties. The healing spell had no effect on magic creatures with magic defense, but this thing from another world couldn't be learned, so its effect would be greatly reduced.

Soon, the wound healed, and the unicorn's body temperature began to rise. It was able to stand up again.

The unicorn's gaze changed from being guarded to looking at Pessatuben.

It stamped its hooves a few times, hesitated for a moment, then turned and ran away.

After doing all this, Pessatuben once again collected the unicorn's blood into a bottle, as well as the unicorn's fur.

"Hmph." Firenze was stunned. He didn't expect to be able to save the unicorn so quickly.

"Woof!

Woof! "A dog barked, and Haig rushed over with a lantern.

"Harry!" Hermione and Ron followed behind.

"Hi, Firenze." Haig greeted Firenze. The two seemed to have a good relationship.

"Looks like you've met little Harry." Firenze nodded at Haig.

"Harry Potter." Firenze said to Harry, "Now that you're safe, I'll leave. Good luck." He disappeared into the fog.

Harry stared at Firenze's figure.

"Potter, Potter, Potter, everyone knows Potter. Oh, Potter, the lucky boy who escaped death. Hmph, saint Potter, idiot Potter." Draco complained softly.

Pessatuben laughed silently. Fortunately, Draco's voice was soft, and Hermione and Ron did not notice. Otherwise, there would have been another argument.

Pessatuben and Draco sneaked into the castle through a small path.

"May I ask, Mr. Prins and Mr. Malfoy, why are you in a place where you shouldn't be at this late hour?" A gloomy voice came from behind them.

Draco stiffly turned around. Pessatuben pretended to be calm and turned around as well.

"Professor Snape." "Professor Snape."

"You — — went to the forbidden forest?!"

Severus noticed the mud on their feet. "Aren't you afraid of danger? Or do you think you're like Potter, so tough that you won't die?"

The two did not dare to make a sound. The angry Severus would not accept any rebuttal.

"I don't think you've forgotten that you're about to face a test?"

"Yes!" Draco had obviously forgotten. "No …"

"Don't try to lie to your professor," Severus said in an extremely bad tone. "You don't want to experience the taste of confinement, do you?"

He then looked at Pessatuben. "As a second-year Slytherin, you ran out with the first-year. Do you think you're going to have the same test content?

Mr. Prins, also, I think you're more familiar with the school rules than the first-year, aren't you? "

"My apologies, Professor Snape."

Pessatuben had never thought of refuting Severus. Also, for some reason, Severus's gaze towards him felt strange, as if he was looking at someone through him.

This made Pessatuben a little unhappy.

"Now, gentlemen, get the hell back to your dorms."

Severus said. "I don't want to see any more Slytherin students. If I find out that you've had your marks deducted because of this, you'll have the honor of facing all kinds of disgusting potion ingredients until the end of the semester."

"Professor Snape."

Pessatuben handed over two bottles of unicorn blood and a bundle of tightly wrapped fur to Severus. "This belongs to a unicorn.

It was a coincidence. We're safe. "

Pessatuben was afraid that Severus would misunderstand, so he explained.

Obviously, this did not make Severus happy. "Not only did you go to the forbidden forest?

You even went to the depths of the forbidden forest?

Hmph, I really don't know how that big idiot managed to guard the forbidden forest. He was actually fooled by two kids. "With that, he swung his robe and strode away.

Pessatuben rubbed his nose awkwardly. He thought to himself, 'It was the big guy who led us there.'

"Pösa, I really …" Draco looked at Pessatuben meaningfully. "As a friend, I support you. But are you sure you don't want to change your target?"

"Change what? This is it." Pessatuben chuckled, but his tone was a little dangerous.

Draco raised his eyebrows, indicating that he didn't care.

The test lasted for an entire day and only ended in the afternoon. Pessatuben rubbed his shoulders. His hands were still sore from writing an entire piece of parchment.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Prins. I think you would like to come to my office for a while until dinner?" This was the first time that Severus had invited Pessatuben. Pessatuben naturally wouldn't refuse.

After a few steps, he saw Harry and the other two talking about something.

"Haig definitely didn't meet a stranger!" Harry said firmly. "It's Snape!

That means he knows how to get past Fluffy! "

"And Dumbledore isn't here right now!" Hermione also realized this.

Pessatuben had heard the entire conversation, but he didn't know if Severus heard it. Even if he did, he probably wouldn't think that the three kids could cause any trouble.

However, that didn't stop Severus from disliking them.

Severus slowly approached them. "Good afternoon." His deep voice sounded in their ears, startling them. He stared at them closely, not wanting to miss any of their movements. "Lively Gryffindor youngsters like you wouldn't want to stay indoors, especially on such a nice day."

Pessatuben stood beside them with a serious expression, the same expression as Severus.

Harry wanted to laugh, but he held it in.

"Ah … we … we just …" Hermione stuttered, trying to find a suitable excuse.

"Be careful."

Severus shifted his gaze from Hermione to Harry. He frowned and stared at Harry. "People will think that you're up to no good."

With that, he left with Pessatuben.

"Oh!

Look, Snape's follower, a serious Snape fan! "Ron said as he stared at Pessatuben's back.

"Ron!" Hermione wasn't happy with Ron's words, but she didn't retort.
