The Seventh Week
Chapter 13
Lying on the hospital bed, Sako was a little irritable and wanted to get up, but she was pressed on the bed by Sakamaru and Ino.
"Sako, you just woke up, don't move around." Infield quickly signaled to Sakura Maru and rushed over to press down on Sako.
That day, Sako fell from the sky into the forest and was picked up by the silver-haired Jōnin.
Sako, who had a large wound on the back of her head, cried tears of joy as she threw herself onto Jōnin's body. She was so emotional that she accidentally pulled on her wound and fainted again.
When she woke up again, she was on a white hospital bed. Outside the window was the unfamiliar yet familiar Hokage Rock.
She was back in her own world.
"But … I want to go home as soon as possible." Sako looked at the golden-haired Infield, who was lying on top of her and smiling brightly.
Infield's expression froze for a moment. "Even so, you have to recover first."
Sakura Maru couldn't bear to see Infield's stupid expression. She walked up to Sako and tucked her in. "Sako has become even prettier since we last met. Do you still remember me?
I swore to be your follower from the first time I saw you. "Sakura Maru sat down on the chair next to Sako and began to talk about interesting childhood stories with Sako.
The estrangement caused by time quickly disappeared, and the room was filled with laughter.
After everyone left, the empty room returned to its original silence.
Sako lowered her head. The smile on her face had disappeared, and she stared blankly at her palms.
So, why didn't she tell her where her parents went?
Jōnin, who was standing outside the door and looking through the small window, clicked his tongue.
He pushed the door open.
"It's you?" Sako turned her head and saw Jōnin, who was wearing a mask, walk in.
Jōnin touched the mask on his face. His eyes were filled with confusion.
"You're not wearing a mask." Sako couldn't help laughing. "Silver hair is too eye-catching."
True enough.
Jōnin ran his fingers through his hair. His hairstyle was too obvious, and the mask was useless.
"He's awake?"
Sako didn't say anything.
Jōnin rubbed his nose and said, "They didn't tell you the truth, did they?"
Sako was stunned. She could not help but tighten her grip on the blanket.
"Ah, in that case, let me be the bad guy."
Jōnin stroked his hair. His eyes were calm. "Your parents are already dead."
His fingertips clenched tightly.
What was this person talking about?
A distorted illusion appeared in the air. Sako lowered his head and smiled, his lips quivering.
How was that possible? Why hadn't her parents come to pick her up?
Sako lifted the blanket and brushed past Jōnin. She walked out barefooted.
She wanted to look for her parents. They must be too busy to come and see her.
The lantern under the beam shone faintly. She still remembered this path. Her brother would always carry her home after school. There were a total of one hundred and seventy-eight stone bricks on this path. When she counted the one hundred and seventy-eight, she was home.
Sako looked up and saw Grandma Lingzi sitting at the entrance of the village.
Everyone was fine. That person must be lying to her.
Her parents must be waiting for her at home.
Step by step, Zuo Zi slowly turned into a run. She ran towards her familiar home.
Sako ran through the courtyard. She smiled, just like every other time. "Dad, Mom, I'm home!"
Ah …
Why … didn't anyone respond to Sako?
It was a lie. Her parents must be out on a mission.
They would come back to find Sako in a while.
She smiled. Something wet flowed down her cheeks. It was so cold.
Why would Sako cry? It couldn't be. It was a lie …
"Sako, that's enough …" He hugged Sako from behind. His voice was hoarse and pained.
"Brother … Shisui?"
Light returned to her eyes. Sako grabbed Shisui's hand and turned around. She couldn't care less about the tears that kept falling.
"Brother Shisui, that person was lying to me, right? Where's Mom and Dad?
Where's Brother?
Stop teasing Sako, Brother Shisui! "
"Sako … take a good look around …"
Take … a good look?
Sako turned around in confusion. Black bloodstains, broken tables and chairs … Eh?
Why did it suddenly become like this?
"Sako, remove the illusion."
Her pupils dilated.
She remembered … it was because she was too scared that she unconsciously used the illusion.
What she saw was the dilapidated gate of the Uchiha Clan. Along the way, she saw the Uchiha Clan as if it was a ghost town.
"Sako."
Shisui knelt on one knee and held Sako's shoulders with both hands. He looked serious. "Listen to me carefully."
Sako looked at the only person in front of her who hadn't changed in her memory.
"Half a month ago, someone called Uchiha Madara found the Uchiha Clan and killed more than half of the Uchiha Clan.
The Clan Leader and his wife … They were the heroes who protected the Uchiha Clan.
It was your brother, Itachi, who activated his Mangekyo Sharingan and killed that person. He saved the last of the Uchiha Clan's bloodline. "
Shisui's eyes were filled with sorrow. "Sako, your parents didn't wait for you to come back. They passed away that night …"
Half a month ago …
Why …
Why …
His pupils were surging with redness.
Why … couldn't they wait for her …
Grabbing Shisui's clothes, Sako couldn't help but cry.
Holding Sako tightly in his arms, Shisui looked sympathetically at the white wall splashed with black blood.
Sako, it's lucky that you didn't come back then.
Kakashi didn't move for a long time in the ward.
He looked at the Uchiha Clan from afar and sighed softly.
His back, which had always been straight, unconsciously collapsed.
The third generation head leaned against the window and smoked a pipe. His aged eyes were filled with a complicated look.
Danzō didn't have to whisper in his ear anymore.
"Did you hear that Sasako Uchiha who disappeared for two years is back?"
"No way, why did he come back at this time?"
Naruto laid on the table, his ears twitched, and he looked out the window.
"Sakura Maru, what should we do, Sako must know!"
Infield shook Sakura Maru's shoulder and said, "She must know that we're hiding it from her!"
Sakura Maru put her hand on Infield's shoulder. "Calm down, think about what to do when you meet Sako, she must be very sad."
Like a storm, the noisy classroom was terrifyingly quiet, as if everyone was holding their breath and waiting for the result.
A girl wearing a ninja uniform with a round fan embroidered on the back walked in.
Her black hair had grown very long, and it hung softly on her shoulders.
Zuo Zi looked around and saw that everyone in the class was looking at her in a daze.
Sako couldn't help but laugh. "Are you guys stupid?
You don't look like you've seen me before. "
She laughed, she laughed …
Inuzuka Kiba hugged his little white dog, was he trying to force a smile? Sako was too gentle, she was afraid that they would be worried, so she forced herself to pretend that nothing happened.
"Wuwuwu …" Infield was about to cry.
Naruto looked at Sako with burning eyes, as if he was looking at a broken illusion.
He clenched his fists and suppressed the urge to rush forward. No, what if he suddenly woke up when he stood up …
"So, is there still a seat for me?" Sako smiled and asked her former classmate.
Oh no, I forgot to move Sako's seat to the front.
Seeing the crowd pushing and shoving each other, Zuo Zi tacitly followed the crowd's evasive gazes and looked at the last row.
Sako sighed in her heart, she pretended not to care and walked to the last row with a smile. She threw her bag on the table, Sako pulled her chair back, pushed the table forward, and sat on the chair.
Naruto, who was pushed over the table and hit the back of the chair, stiffened his back, and squeezed the pen in his hand tightly.
"Ah, that … the chair you're sitting on hasn't been cleaned in two years."
Stiff. Sako slowly turned her head to look at Shikamaru, who was leaning on the table and talking to her. Her forehead couldn't help but tremble.
So scary, this must be murderous intent.
Inuzuka Kiba hugged the little white dog and shivered.
