The Seventh Week

Chapter 4

Summer Festival.

Uchiha Mikoto helped Sako into a beautiful bathrobe.

Sako, who had been excited since the morning, rushed out as soon as her mother let go of her hand.

"Itachi, hurry up and take our little princess out to play, don't lose her," Mikoto, who was wearing a bathrobe and standing at the door looking at them with a smile, gently said to Itachi.

"Mom, dad, aren't you coming with me?"

Mikoto's face showed a trace of distress, "I can't, I have to prepare the Summer Festival's finale with dad, I can't go with Sako."

She hung the Minions bag around Sako's neck and kissed Sako regretfully, "I envy Onii-chan for being able to go out with Sako."

Itachi calmly held Zuo Zi's small hand on the side, with flowers blooming in his heart.

Here it comes, time to spend alone time with Sako.

She held her brother's hand and jogged all the way to the Summer Festival, there was already a sea of people in front of them.

Sako stopped obediently on the side of the road.

Itachi looked at Sako strangely, why did the little princess change her style this year?

"Naruto!

Here, here! "

Itachi clenched his fists as he looked at the dazzling hair that was running towards him.

Itachi looked at Itachi who abandoned him and ran into the Summer Festival while holding Naruto's hand. He felt like an old father whose daughter was taken away by a wild man. He stretched out his hand weakly and watched as Sako ran away from his sight like a happy bunny.

What happened to the promised time alone between siblings? Didn't Sako like Onii-chan the most?

Why did she run away with the brat and leave her old father alone?

"Pfft."

Shisui, who was chewing on a tri-colored meatball and looking at Itachi's deflated expression, laughed out loud and walked over to put his arm on Itachi's shoulder, "Itachi, Sako is at the age where she likes to play with her friends, don't mind it."

"What do you know when you don't have a sister?"

Shisui, who was mercilessly poked by his friend, clutched his chest, he was wrong, he shouldn't have talked to Itachi.

Sako held Naruto's hand with one hand and rummaged through the Minions bag with the other, she took out a candy apple and put it in Naruto's hand, "Brother Shisui gave this to me, I couldn't bear to eat it, it's delicious, try it."

Naruto held the candy in his hand and showed a big smile to Sasako.

After giving the candy to Naruto, Saso didn't care anymore. She pulled Naruto and ran to the goldfish stall. "Boss, give me ten nets. I don't believe that Saso-sama won't be able to catch a small goldfish this year."

"Don't use your Sharingan." The stall owner gave Sako the net and reminded her with a smile.

"I know." Sako pouted and gave half of the net to Naruto.

"Quick, come and help me."

Naruto, who had never caught a goldfish before, didn't know what to do with the net. He carefully raised his head to look at the stall owner's expression, but he didn't see the familiar expression on the owner's face. Even when he took the fishing rod, the owner was still smiling.

Naruto clenched the wooden pole in his hand, he copied Sako and put the net into the water. "Ah, it broke."

"Hahaha, idiot Naruto, you're worse than me." Sako laughed at him.

Naruto's face couldn't help but blush.

She was obviously being mocked, but in the depths of her heart, a sweet feeling rose up.

"Okay, okay, let's not play with this anymore. Let's go catch some water balls!"

After a while, Sasako, who was impatient, decisively gave up on the little goldfish and pulled Naruto to another stall.

Naruto only had time to put down the net in his hand. He was a bit disappointed. He was so close to catching the goldfish … and giving it to her.

"Naruto, Naruto, look at this mask. Does it look good?"

Naruto frowned and looked at Sako, who was holding a red and black mask. He pursed his lips and took the mask off. "It doesn't look good. I'll give you this."

She handed the other bird mask with exquisite patterns to Zuo Zi. "Why? Isn't that like our Sharingan?"

After receiving the bird mask, Zuo Zi muttered and obediently put the mask on her face. She looked at the mirror on the stall and was soon satisfied with the beautiful mask.

Naruto looked at the black and red mask he put aside.

He didn't know why, but he didn't want Sako to wear that mask. The mask didn't suit Sako at all when she was so happy.

"Naruto, you wear this," Naruto looked at the demon fox mask in Sako's hand and took it in a daze.

"Naruto, look, it's fireworks. Let's go watch the fireworks!"

Naruto held the mask in one hand and was dragged forward by Sako with the other. What he saw wasn't the fireworks that lit up the entire sky, but the girl smiling at him amidst the fireworks.

Sako ran all the way to the highest hill. She looked back at the fireworks in the sky, but all she saw was nothingness.

Zuo Zi grasped her empty hand, and her eyes revealed a bit of confusion. Clearly, the fireworks were blooming behind her, but she didn't feel happy in her heart.

Sako clenched her fists in frustration. How could she lose Naruto?

The fireworks behind her couldn't attract her attention anymore. Sako went back the way she came.

In Daren's footsteps, Zuo Zi was like a small tadpole mixed in with a school of sardines, being shoved here and there recklessly.

Stumbling, Zuo Zi's body couldn't help but lean forward. The ground was getting closer and closer in her sight.

Her waist was firmly held by a hand, and her back leaned against a warm body.

"Whose child are you? Why are you here alone?"

Sako turned around in a daze. The boy who was a head taller than her was frowning. His voice was as pleasant as spring water.

"Where are your parents?

Did you get separated? "

"I got separated from Naruto." Sako tugged at her shirt and wriggled out of the boy's arms.

"Naruto?

I've never heard of him. "

The boy held Sako's hand again to prevent her from being separated by the crowd. "What does he look like?"

"Golden hair, blue eyes, the same height as me. He has a cat-like beard." Sako counted Naruto's features with her fingers.

"Supercilious eyes."

The boy's eyes bulged with veins. He looked ferocious. He was completely different from the handsome boy from before.

Sako let go of his hand and looked at the boy's eyes in shock. Did this boy have the same Dojutsu as the Uchiha?

"Found him."

The boy turned back to his original appearance and pulled Sako to his side. "Stay by my side. Don't get lost again."

Sako nodded obediently and followed the boy's footsteps. Soon, she saw a golden figure in the crowd.

"Naruto!!!

Wahhh, I finally found you. "

Catching Sasako who rushed over, Naruto's hands and feet stiffly hugged the girl, and his panicked heart was finally filled.

Naruto tightened his grip and buried his head in Sako's shoulder. "Sako, I was so worried about you. Don't disappear again."

"I'm sorry, Naruto. I know I was wrong. A boy brought me here to find you … Eh, where did you go?" Sako turned around but couldn't find the white figure in the crowd.

Itachi, who had really lost his sister, was being pressed by Shisui to buy octopus soup from a roadside stall.

"Itachi, don't be so upset. It's the Summer Festival. Ah, open your mouth."

Itachi took an octopus soup and chewed it with his teeth. It was as if he wasn't eating octopus soup, but Naruto's flesh.

Only when the fireworks finished did Itachi pick up an exhausted Saso biscuit that had no energy to play around.

Itachi carried Sako in his arms and glanced at Naruto without saying anything.

Shisui sent Naruto home. Itachi carried Sako on the path home.

"Brother, I'm sorry."

"What's wrong?" Itachi looked down at his favorite sister in his arms.

"I was so focused on playing with Naruto that I forgot about you."

Zuo Zi's sincere apology melted Itachi's heart into a pool of sweet paste. "Brother, do you feel lonely?"
